Still sounds like bad PR to me... I may not be an expert on game engines, but I find it very hard to believe this engine requires some specific architecture to run properly.

Well, they're just a gaming forum, and every gaming forum has a good share of fanboys.

Hardly a reason to single out NeoGAF... as long as you don't buy into that crap how they're "special" or more credible than other gaming forums.

I don't know, they really fucked things up. A month has passed, and crucial features like thread markers and unread post count still haven't been restored.

At this point, I highly doubt the SW will ever go back to its glory days... some of us regulars still stick around, but the place is pretty damn boring, which sucks, especially since we're in a very eventful time for the game industry.

I disagree... there was a lot of hype and heated discussions over the last few months, when the PS4 and X1 were announced.

If the site didn't go through the redesign, I'm sure we would've been seeing thousands of posts right now, like we did on the PS4 and X1 announcements, as well as E3.

Would be more productive to boycott your threads.

This... there are no more trolls than usual, it's just that many good posters left, or stopped being as active as they used to be.

Even to this day, major issues remain, we still haven't gotten the markers for thread you posted in, or the unread post count, so this redesign is easily the worst thing that happened to GS ever since I came here. I wonder if the board will ever recover, and be as active as it was only a month ago.
