Thoughts: The Wii really surprised me this gen. After it failed to meet my expectations and i regretted my purchase, i bought a ps3, but doing so actually made me appreciate the wii for what is was: something different. Suddenly, it wasn't about technical graphics or achievements, it was just about gameplay. In a gen where the ps3 and the 360 are moving closer and closer to being exactly like the PC, it was a nice refresher every once in awhile, brought me back to my SNES/Ps1-2 days. Otherwise, great generation we've been having, for every console, including handhelds.
