You're welcome! And thanks to you guys for linkifying the whole thing... I'm not sure how to do that myself.

@air_wolf: have you tried the SFX Lambda trilogy yet? They're all pretty long levels, and good difficulty.

There are a lot of short, unfinished, random levels on the depot, but I figure it's kids having fun and basically pinning their drawings on the refrigerator door. I say let 'em have fun... you start to recognize them and don't have to download anything you don't want. There's still plenty of stuff with lots of effort put into it.

Here's some videos of user-created levels and other stuff from Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy. These are levels you can download and play, and excellent examples of the type of things you can make yourself (if you're awesome, that is...) The guy who made these is a regular on the Blast Works forum, and kind of a rock star at the Depot where creations get shared.

If anyone reading this is even slightly interested in the game, hopefully this helps your decision... plus the game is only $20!!!

You're on the rooftop after he's sprouted his gross arm, right? I always use a combo of machinegun and magnum in that fight. Going in, make sure you have lots of ammo for both. Then I think you have to collect three parts of an emblem to unlock the door... don't forget to do that and put them together. And from someone who ALWAYS gets lost in games, take a moment to look at the map and make sure you know how to get to the door in the first place. I'm pretty sure (it's been a while) you drop down a hole into a room, and a door that was blocked before the fight is open afterwards, and is the quickest way to the exit.

Good luck!

Blast Works!

It doesn't use motion controls, and would benefit infinitely from the increased horsepower, storage space, and online co-op.

I've got both consoles, and otherwise most games that are good on the Wii probably belong there because of the controls.

Any recent purchasers care to update their impressions? The depot is full of good stuff recently, and from some new folks, too.

My favorite games have been (pretty much in order as they replaced each other) RE4, Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, and....

Blast Works! It's lasted longer than any of the above, and I'm currently neglecting my new 360, Okami, and most of my real-life responsibilities in order to make my own levels.

Blast Works

It's keeping me away from my new 360, too. I daydream stuff at work to try to make when I come home. It's that addicting!

Not sure how to make a link, but you've got to try the level: Zycyzyx

It works with the ship: Vertigal or Cherub.

If you haven't tried this level yet, you're missing out.

You mentioned some other good ones, too. I'm hoping interest in the game picks up or at least stays steady. Look at my level, too, if you don't mind. It's called D...C
