Close to 3 hours of clocked play time, and I still can't get past the twin crabs in stage 5! I used to be able to get to 6 on auto-pilot... I guess I'm getting my money's worth by having to re-learn the game... Oh, how I've missed this game!

And I'm hoping this is a sign we'll also get Gradius V sometime, too...

Yep, shortly after I last posted, I entered an area where Legolas had to shoot targets to trigger an event, but his reticle wouldn't show up on screen. I switched from bow to daggers and back to bow, but still nothing. He would shoot random arrows at ground level, but not up at the targets above him. Had to quit and re-start. Argh...

This happened to me, too. In the Sauron fight, he got his mace stuck in the indestructible (at this point in the game, at least) boulder at the back of the battlefield, and my characters couldn't touch it to trigger the next stage of the fight. There's nothing to do but quit the game and start it over. After 5 minutes.

It's also frozen on me a couple times, forcing me to turn off and then re-start the PS3. And in the "Taming Gollum" level, Gandalf got stuck under a tree I was trying to cut down, suddenly was unable to walk out, swing his sword, or jump. Again, had to quit and re-start.

I wish I could say "I'm never buying another Traveler's Tales game again, because of the inexcusable glitches!" But the licenses they get are just too irresistible... it's definitely frustrating!

When I look for it using my PSP, I don't see it... only from the PS3 store... I do most of my PS1 gaming on the portable system while away from home, so if there's a way to get this working on PSP, that will get me to buy it. Thanks!

Kratos has a better story, graphics, and certainly more gore and enemy variety. But in Rygar, the combos you learn and weapon you choose actually affects how you fight enemies. I'm playing it for the first time in 10 years, so I'm still a bit rusty, but I remember combos that pop enemies up and slam them down again. And options that let you steer the weapon horizontally to defend your space. I could never get into GOW partly because even with all his combos and weapon switching, it just seems like Kratos flails around randomly with his blades.

Now I want Contra Shattered Soldier, Gradius V, and R-Type Final on the store, please...

Anyone notice this? I wanted to re-download Delta to my PSP and PS3, and had to go into my purchase history to find it. Does this kind of thing happen often? Why? Licensing issues or what? Will they be back? Will R-Type Final ever make it into the PS2 section of the store? Or R-Type Dimensions (so far an XB... exclusive)? And did anybody notice anything else missing from the store?

Very nice information. Thanks especially for the chart and video comparison links, Nameless... Looks like I'll be keeping an eye out for DK64.

I was given a N64 along with Mario 64, OOT, and Perfect Dark. I know Perfect Dark requires the Expansion Pak, but what other games should I look for that either require the Pak, or show some kind of improvement from using it? My question is essentially what games will make it worthwhile to add an Expansion Pak to the system? Thanks!

How about...

Strider 2 (with the original included, since you needed to finish it to unlock a level)

Intelligent Qube

Heart of Darkness

Einhander

G-Darius

Parappa the Rapper
