wow...those of you who put Gears of war, call of duty, halo3 etc... probably have never played a bad game before... i mean, seriously, have you played bad games? bad game = unpolished, unplayable, broken etc...a55a55inx

Exactly. The thread isn't "Popular games you want to publicly dump on just to piss people off." Do you know what a bad game is? Like the guy said: Broken. Flawed games that don't seem like they were even finished before they were shipped. I don't like Gears at all,but I know it's not the WORST game for the 360. It's actually a very well-crafted game that I happen not to like very much. Worst game? Bad story. Counterintuitive controls. No memorable sequences. Games where you can tell the developers just idn't try that hard. Bioshock?! Condemned 2? C'mon, even from what you said, you just couldn't get into them. That's different than the worst game you ever played, no? Maybe you're just lucky, there are some truly bad, horrible games out there.

Yeesh. "Alone in the Dark!" Wow, there's a case study of how abysmally bad controls can ruin a good game. Terrible. When you know exactly what to do to and how to do it -- say, kill a monster, or get from point A to point B -- but the controls make it nearly impossible, that's a bad game. It's like the entire challenge comes from mastering the controls, not anything the game throws at you. It actually got bad reviews for that very thing, so I should've known. But yeah, by far, that was the biggest gaming disappointment ever. I had been tracking that game a year before it came out. Yuck.

I had to do that when my 1st one was stolen. I was nervous about having the info on there. If you're cancelling your account outright, they will do it for you at the help line..They will also help you take it off at the help line if your continuing your account, but it takes time, from what I remember. There is one thing you can do it with instantly: Use"Migrate Xbox Live Account" on a new 360 (if you have one or are getting one). If you don't have another 360 and don't plan to get one, you can get the folks at the support line will actually put it on a blank 360 in thier possession (it's secure). From what they told me, the actual info is not on the box, it's a matter of accessing your account from that particular machine it's assigned to. Still, if you're getting rid of your 360, you don't want someone using your account. Remember, the actual info is also "asterisked out!" on the screen. You know, "**** **** 1234."

The help line can be a little annoying and may take awhile. I bet it's busy these days. Bottom line is they should be able to help you out. Hope this helps.

All depends if there are slab of rock or concrete for Fenix to hide behind when you press the A button.

But seriously, seeing as how MC is genetically modified, I think about 1000 pounds with his armor and can flip over tanks, he'd win. In a real, rich 3D environment with very good lighting. And later, if somebody recounted the story, it would actually be interesting and have something to it.

Definitely worth the prices you can find it for these days! Excellent early title. It starts out very "basic" but gets cooler and creepier later on. The "CSI" elements are not strong and are kind of there to move the story along butit has great atmosphere and brutal melee action. It's also pretty good-looking and still one of the only genuinely creepy titles out there for the 360 so far, so if you like that sort of thing, it's definitely a must-have.

Just a few things that might help. Wireless routers more forwireless internet service. I don't know about a network switch, but most people use a router. You can always go "cheap and easy," like I do. Plug the cable into your 360 when you're going online with your 360 and plug the cable into your computer when you're going online with your computer. One has nothing to do with the other, and since you're only using silver and getting the occasional update, you hardly need the 360 to be hooked up to the Internet 24/7. I'

I've got Gold and game online all the time. I've never gotten around to buying a router, but just pluggin into the 360 whenever I need it is good enough and cuts out all the extra stuff. Just a little inconvenient but your best option until you decide what you want to do. If you have a long ethernet cable, that helps. The one that comes with the 360 is actually pretty good.

The Orange Box is going to be awesome, and for the price of one game, you'll have three (or five, depending on how you look at it). Good opportunity to catch up on Half-Life 2 if you've never played it. I think it's going to be a blockbuster-quality game that nobody will have to stand in line for.

LE. Disc was loose in the tin and scratched, as the headlines have mentioned, but it still plays. I know you can do an exchange, but I'll wait until I can live without it for a few days before I do whatever I have to do to get it replaced. The presentation was fine. The extra disc is interesting enough (no repeats of the "ViDocs"), and there's a extra booklet that decribed each "race" (aliens and humans) involved in the game. The tin seems inexpensive enough, but looks good with the slip cover. Keep in mind it's only a few dollars more, so as a fan, I figured it was interesting enough to get my hands on.
