If they put all entertainment into the Xbox it would create something that would be very pricey to make and something some people really do not want to pay for.

No matter how much a company tries something will always come along to beat them, It's a never ending cycle and something will ALWAYS be better then something else.

Changing a console series controller that has basically been the same since the original (except a few things were tweaked slightly over the years.) for one genre of game makes no sense, excuse me but most gamers and critics nowadays act like shooting games are the only genres that exist, I would probably like them but the idea of spending sixty more dollars for a new label slapped on, some new areas and a few new weapons doesn't really appeal to me, It's like an expensive map pack.

Backwards Compatibility would be nice, just because of that they could make twice if not even three times what they would normally. It may cost more for them to make them but in the long run they could get a lot more.

No matter what though as I have said before, I will NOT get ANY new console on the first few months just to have them release a new "Slim" or a "Oh look! This console is Black instead of White or White instead of Black!" version with three times as much memory, and less bugs.

I think the current systems are fine, the have only been around for a few years but a lot more can come from them. They should work on upgrading handhelds. (which they already have actually) What they need to do is release PS2 games on the PS3 and more then about ten Xbox games on the 360. And I don't see how Nintendo is still a top company, the main series they have had for years is like the same thing every new games. Mario, Bowser/Bowser.Jr kidnaps one of the princesses (normally peach) then Mario runs through a level jumping on turtles and throwing fireballs at them while getting mushrooms and coins. Same thing everytime. I mean the games are fun and all to a point, but after thirty years or so It's starts to get kinda boring. Even when the new systems come out I won't be buying them right then, I just don't feel like spending $600+ on a system just to have them make a upgraded version that's better and has more memory in a few months, and that's less then half of the original released system.
