For the NDS i can't think of a better experience than Chrono trigger. For ps2i think Dragon quest 8 is an excellent choice

Local co-op is light years beyond online multiplayer in terms of fun and social interaction. The same way that facebook doesn't replace actual human contact. That said its a feature that is needed for people like me who don't have many friends interested in gaming and still wants to play co.op.

I still have a few games from this year i haven't bought, but speaking of future releases only:

And thats it, maybe more if i buy a ps4.

None of that is explained in peace walker, absolutely not one bit. It doesnt carry over portable ops. Most of that stuff we know because of the data base.

I never got past the 20 minute mark on Portable ops, but i dont really think its canon. Peace walker doesnt have anything to do with it, story wise, it takes off right after MGS3.

My second most enjoyable game of the year so far, only behind to tactics ogre. Fantastic gameplay mechanics, love the DNA chips array of possibilities and combinations, love the soundtrack, love the story structure and having to search for every tid bit of information to put the story together,

Its not a parasite eve, but who cares, its a great game and thats all that matters.
