Yes the launch lineup was dull and even angered me. But then again, with Starfox, Zelda, and Animal Crossing coming soon enough, they obviously knew weak launch titles wouldn't be a problem in the long run.

Most people can only afford or only want one console. The one they chose is special to them, they spent hard earned cash on it. Most of the time, they become biased to the other gaming platforms. Its understandable though unfortunate. They deny themselves great fun and new experiences. Some are more specific, as in they hate/love certain genres of games. This is more understandable, you only have X amount of time in life. I am sure grateful I only dislike one genre, which I won't mention so I don't get flamed (I don't think it's a bad genre, just not my cup of tea so to speak).

@wolfyrabbit Your denying yourself fun and missing out on some awesome games. I implore to open your mind and explore all that gaming has to offer.

I'm so glad I play for the games. Not which console I think is superior.

Obviously games are story telling mediums. Have you ever played Mass Effect? Dammit, even Pac-man has a story, a little yellow man must eat the pellets and escape the ghosts, or he will die. Why must he do this? The state that games are in currently, leaves a lot up to imagination, but so do books where you have to imagine everything you read. While most games have a linear story compared to a movie or book, with each advancing year, the story's become more vivid and complex. From Pac Man, to Donkey Kong Country, to Golden Eye, to Resident Evil 4, to Mass Effect. See a pattern?

I hate fast moving zombies. Its just not a Resident Evil game without at least some of the the slow movers, although Resident Evil 4 was really fun.
