I love that Launchpad won. He has all the makings of a great sidekick in cartoon and in game. He's a major character that still gives comic relief, and he's always dependable for the main character. He makes mistakes, but he's a big crowd-pleaser. Cheers for Launchpad McQuack! @halorocks123 Cool story, bro
@dAn_the_JeStEr Unfortunately, Sony is VERY careful, even paranoid, about indie development. They're in a constant race against the CFW crowd with PSP, when these people have proven the PSP is capable of much more than Sony allows it to do.
@foxfacer2d2 Lies, the PSP came out in 2005, only (roughly) 2/3 of the way through the PS2's successful life. The PS3 didn't even come out until a year after the PSP. Besides, Sony hasn't even announced an 8th-gen console yet, so I don't think they're going to stop making PlayStation 3 games just because a poorly-named handheld has hit shelves. Still, I'm excited for the Vita, it looks extremely powerful, despite the odd name. I guess we're all just used to standard names like xbox and PlayStation... and, unfortunately, Wii.
Nintendo has been ridiculous since late in the n64's life. Since then, the general quality of their games has not gone down, but the real value of the systems they make, down the drain. Nintendo is great at making fun games, and now they should focus on making fun yet WORTHWHILE consoles, not just a cash cow they can milk for another 8 years.
I've all but lost faith with Nintendo; their last console was a Gamecube with motion controls. This next console better be something much much more than a Gamecube with an ipad controller...
@boardbal909 not true with the Wii MotionPlus. Though the Move is far superior to the wii remote, the wii remote with an attached wii motion plus practices one to one movement, and is almost as accurate as the move.

Looks cool. I'm not in to PC gaming as much anymore, but I would like a new OS. I'm running Windows XP Media Center Edition 32bit, and it's nice, but it just doesn't look as pretty as Vista. This looks like a combo of the looks of Vista and the abilities of XP. I like the page tabbing part, too. That means you can take 2 or more programs and have them share the screen automatically. Pretty cool, I say.
