Yes, it happened to me too during multiplayer...not as often mind you, but often enough depending on HOW I defeated my friend. Most often that sound would occur when I defeated my opponent by knocking them to the ground and releasing their chakra for the taking.

Another thing they need to fix are the difficulty settings...I have the game on INSANE right now and it's still too easy. I haven't been knocked down from a green health bar yet.

No, it isn't.

But unfortunately, the download was only available because it mistakenly leaked out while Sony was testing the app. Now that that's been discovered, it's been pulled (source: http://www.ps3fanboy.com).

i highy doubt it...it is possible but how much would they charge for it? and the size of the download would have to be like 8gb...the only reason i think they wouldnt do it is because it would be too expensive...alot of people wouldnt buy it and their hard drives are not that big 2 hold those movies and their game installs etc.damedash122

Not only that, but the fact that it would then run counter-productive to Blu-ray sales...I think Blu-ray is the main reason Sony is holding out on buying HD movies on the Video Store.

[QUOTE="MalcolmYuy"]

For me, I would take over SCE.

As much as I love Sony, reading the comments over at the PlayStation Blog has made me feel...saddened :(.

What I would do as head or overseer is to make sure that each branch of SCE is doing what they can to make sure each region of the world is getting equal footing in games, whether it be pricing, availiability (such as PSN cards), and to make sure that the PlayStation Store is everything it could be, like making sure that each region is able to upload a quality roster of PS1 games each week/month, along with videos, themes, and demos. I find it unfair that SCEJ is uploading the bulk of those games, while other territories such as America (Meso and South included, along with Canada) and Europe are missing out.

I'd also try to release a PlayStation Store for the PSP, NOT on PC, but accessible directly through the PSP like the Store is on the PS3.

But that's just me :P.

Yeah. I always wondered what was up with Sony's odd business tactics. :(

I didn't, until I started visiting the Blog...I don't quite know what Sony's thinking either :?.

Sad really.

If anyone's browsed through the PlayStation Blog (and I have surfed through the comments a number of times), then you'd know this is requested A LOT. One of Sony's representatives said there were a lot of things regarding uploading a PS1 game onto the Store, such as liscening, ratings, cross-appeal, localization, and music rights.

Though it all sounds good, I still don't get why Sony doesn't release more, since from what I've heard about the competitors being able to do a better job. If they can do it, then surely Sony can. They do need to step on it.

Well, back on topic, those screenshots look NICE ;).

I can't wait for June 12th to get here...and I can't wait to finish MGS3 and then move on to Portable Ops.

For real?! Maybe I should insert the first of my beta key at room temperature, then the second part after I cooled it down, and then heat the third part up .

Seriously, I copy and pasted the link, and it's a joke video. The guy is humorously referencing MGS1 in his instructions, so that DOESN'T work.

I still have yet to hear from Konami, since I'm one of the ones with a 9-digit code...I just hope I hear from them soon.

I would be a shame that MSG4 would be that last time we see snake around. I hope that kojima listen to the voices of the fans of MSG series a reconsiders his decision.

biribis

Actually, I believe Kojima-san should put Snake to rest. Even though I'm a newbie of the MGS series (1st playthrough of MGS right now), through all of the interviews I've read, I think he wants finally end the MGS series. He said he was supposed to end it at 2, but then decided to make 3, and then well...he is now putting the finishing touches on 4. He did say there was room for Naked Snake (Big Boss), but anything else involving Solid Snake would end up being something a graphic novel...no game.

And when the guy in one of the above posts said Konami remaking Metal Gear 1 and 2, I believe he was referring to the original Metal Gear games created for the MSX and NES (and also playable through MGS3: Subsistance, or so I've heard).
