Well in a serious note how do they plan on bringing it to the Wii? I mean if this is a solid plan, then how long do you really think it would take? I mean look at Dead Rising for the Wii that took waht 2 or 3 years to bring to the Wii and now they are gonna try it again...This game would almost have to be a completely different engine or a overhaul for it to even be possible. I would like to be excited for this game I really would but in all reality I dont see this game coming to the Wii soon enough to be good and being better than another game by Capcom using the old ass RE4 engine.

If all of that is true and it is finalized then Im not buying the game. only 10 hours of gameplay for $50...no multiplayer...Im sorry that doesnt warrent a buy for me maybe a solid rent but not a buy.
Nintendo is NOT directly competing with MS or SONY, they just arent! They created there OWN market share and it worked. So because of that I can see Nintendo in a few years releasing an "improved" Wii. They have made a brand name with the Wii. You have to understand Nintendo is now almost entirely casual. They wouldn't want there consumers to be confused or upset at having to buy a new Wii. Don't get me wrong I do think Nintendo will give us another console but not until they have COMPLETELY milked the Wii. As for an improvement to what the Wii is now. I can only see a few changes here and there. To make it more of a living room staple they will probably have video playback somewhere. They MIGHT have HD depends on where HD is at that point for the general public. I can see them having more internal memory and a way to keep track of online transactions (they will probably introduce some sort of Nintendo club or something that lets u register what games you have so you can redownload them onto your new console so they can slowly get ppl ready to make the jump). MAYBE make WM+ part of the controller itself. What I would like to see them do....Give us a 60GBHDD, HD games and movies, eliminate friend codes, give the machine more horsepower, improved online, WM+ already part of the controller, and maybe a few more tweeks here and there....but my dream is a hardcore gamers dream for Nintendo....but Nintendo's dream is focused at someone completely different.
I really wish High Voltage would stop bragging about how awesome they are for a change and just go make their game. :P

Technical prowess and polish, yes, they can brag. Few are doing what they are doing and so they deserve it. When a large majority of major publisher's games cannot measure up to what HVS is doing on Wii they can brag. Remember were talking about raw power here not the highly debated artistic direction. You do have to give it up to them for just being innovative and coming up with something that make most go "WOW thats on the Wii?"
I really hope this isnt some joke or trick cause I was wanting this game for the Wii ever sence they brought RE4 to the Wii. The control's for the Wii version of RE4 were great maybe they will stick to them with RE5. Man this excites me like no other plz dont be fake or a joke plz plz.
