As possible as that is, the pirate charm was a "rock", whereas this is a projection (nice call though :) ). I did make the shadow comparison myself though (no copying from me). So it is possible, but I just think that this is how she represents herself in Hyrule.
Thats what I was thinking... a shadow is always depicted as a form of evil in the Zelda Universe (i.e. Shadow Temple), so that could also relate to Midna. As for the people who believe this appearance from a shadow can be compared to th pirate charm, I don't at all se how this can be compared since that was merely an item used for communication, where as this is the character!
Gotta agree with RandomHero here. If I want something good, you had better be ready to wait a bit for it. However, if the final product isn't as good as advertised, then thats when you get upset. If those extra months that were tacked onto TP were worth it (I know they will be) then all will be well.
