Get a prescription for antidepressants. Additionally, being clingy is not an attractive quality

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't you have to go back to medical school if you get your degree in Croatia and move to the US, in order to start practicing medicine?

Let's put it this way: Say your father had a stroke and became bound to a wheelchair and couldn't really move or speak anymore. He would be less able to interact with you than a dog and would need more care. Say he ate your gf's dress and your girlfriend gave you the same ultimatum about your father. Would you do it? One could argue you have more incentive to throw away your father since he has become more worthless than the dog. However, many people would object to this because they have formed an attachment (obviously) to their father. He doesn't interact with you as much as your girlfriend does and you wouldn't be able to sleep with him (I seriously hope). Instead you would probably tell her to leave. Before any of you get angry at me for even comparing the situations, think about whether he is still your father or not and put yourself in the shoes of the people who really do form attachments with their dogs.

[QUOTE="MCGSMB"] Why is it lesser?DJ_Lae

So your gf can force you to get rid of something you love? Do you own pets?

I own pets, although I can't stand dogs which makes threads like this painfully easy to answer. Vagina or a smelly canine? Tough choice.

Yeah but it wouldn't stop at the dog. Next thing you know, your house is filled with lace curtains and your xbox is at the dump.

[QUOTE="MCGSMB"][QUOTE="Baconbits2004"]I think that if the woman wants you to get rid of something you clearly care about, then she doesn't love you. If she did, then she wouldn't be making you choose.... she'd either try her hardest to make it work, or tell you that it isn't working and leave.... in no way would she ever ask you to give it up. In any case I'll always choose my cute little puppy who loves gnawing on my arms. =DBaconbits2004

sarcasm? :P

Ha, no. I'm just illustrating how some people here have significantly distorted views of the worth of things.

[QUOTE="DJ_Lae"]Girlfriend. It's a dog - it's a lesser species, it can go **bleep** off.

Why is it lesser?

[QUOTE="supa_badman"] :lol: Now you're getting offended at something I didn't say.supa_badman

.....You agreed that we must not know what its like to have human partners. So yeah you did say it

No I didn't. =\ I said 'if'. If as in I'm not sure if you do or don't. I didn't mean to say it with conviction. Sorry if you took it that way. Internet does that.

The way you said it was in a conditional statement. I.e. if this is true then this is true also. So yes, you did intend to imply what they are talking about

[QUOTE="supa_badman"] If you people did, I'd think you'd understand why I think human partners>pets.supa_badman

So my friends just like dont exist now? My girlfriend I was just talking to isnt real?

Ok, I get you dont value pets. I value human partners too, but I also value my pets as well. But because I do think of pets that way I automatically dont know anything about having human partners?

:lol: Now you're getting offended at something I didn't say.

You realize that if you knew what it was like to have a pet you wouldn't value a girls dress above it.
