Your girlfriend says its her or the dog. Which do you choose?

Your dog just ripped up your girlfriends favorite dress. You say your dog (which you have had for years) was just playing and didnt mean it, but she ignores you and declares its her or the dog! You now stand in your bed room with your angry girlfriend awaiting an answer while arms folded and your dog laying on your bed staring at you. You must make a decision.... Your best friend, or your girlfriend?

Which would you choose and why?

I would pick my dog because my dog is an aspect of my life and my girlfriend would need to accept all aspects of my life if she loved me. My dog is my best friend and any girlfriend of mine would have to see I love my dog. So I would tell her the following "Ok, pack your bags and get out."

I would say the dog, but i'd try to convince her for sure. Buy her a new dress, blah blah. But if you look at it from another view, your gettin some from the girlfriend not the dog hahaha.

If she is willing to leave over something so trivial, I doubt the relationship was going to go anywhere anyway. I would probably choose the dog in that case.

My vote doesn't really count, though, since:

a) I hate dogs, so I wouldn't have one anyway

and

b) My girl wouldn't be so shallow as to make me get rid of my pets over a stupid dress, that's one of the many reasons why I love her. :P
