4) Most importantly: The majority of players on most MMOs are complete prats. The distance and anonymity afforded to them from behind their comptuer screen leads far too many players to act like complete douchebags. Why would I want to spend my time having to deal with these idiots? Doesn't matter if they're in my party or not. They're cluttering up chat with inane babble or faffing about like the extra chromosome carrying spacktards that they are.

That is exactly why i can't stand them. My participation in the NFS: World beta was extremely short lived, not just because it was awful, but because even in it's beta stage it was already infested with these wastes of DNA...

Neither of them are future proof (hate that term) at all since Intel have already announced they are both being replaced at the end of the year. LGA1156 is being replaced by LGA1155 and LGA1366 is being replaced by LGA2011. Intel has seriously p****d off a lot of people with this as it seems ridiculous that the new CPU's, particularly the LGA1155's really need completely new sockets and motherboards.

You'll probably have to run it with low settings, but it will run

I've recently been having the exact same issue, although it hasn't cropped up yet today thankfully. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, made no difference.

I was briefly in 2 clans in MechWarrior 4 back when it was new, but got bored with both of them really quickly. I've zero interest in joining any now for any game, largely because i almost never play games online anymore. Also i hate the word clan.

To answer the question, the GTX 275 is better than the GTX 260 by such a small margin that it's nowhere near worth the money, simple as that.

If you have the option, the Vertex 2E is the better drive than the standard Vertex 2. You should be able to geta 140gb Vertex 2E for the price of the 120gb Vertex 2.

Idontremember

Actually, the Vertex 2E is 120gb and the Vertex 2 is 100gb.

I am gonna use it for windows and apps and I've looked at the benchmark, the read of both is quite close,

but is the edge of the vertex 2 worth is for 40gb lower???

Yep, i was getting the 120gb and 240gb mixed up.

The Vertex 2E uses the new Sandforce SF-1200 controller which is without doubt the best controller for SATA-II SSD's. The only SSD that offers faster read speeds without some kind of internal RAID configuration is the Crucial C300 SATA-III SSD i use, but the write speeds on the Crucial are a lot slower than those SSD's using the SF-1200. Don't just limit yourself to the Vertex 2/2E, there are several other SSD ranges that use that controller, such as the Corsair Force series, the G.Skill Phoenix series and another OCZ series, the Agility 2/2E series. A recent test at one major hardware review site (i forget which one) showed the Agilty 2 is every bit as good as the Vertex 2. All SSD's using the SF-1200 will perform every bit the same, so look for those SSD series' and simply go for the cheapest one... you can't lose.

The Athlon II X4 CPU's are decent units for their price. If you can't stretch to a Phenom II X4 then the Athlon II is fine... It'll certainly be a big upgrade from your current CPU.
