I haven't had a single BSOD (running Vista Ultimate x64), all my hardware is working fine (including X-Fi Elite Pro)and haven't come across a single bug yet... Not bad for a "buggy OS"

[QUOTE="Lukozer"][QUOTE="Rogue_Patriot"]Making games because it makes money. "sad" Subcritical

So what's the reason for any other company making and releasing games?? They don't do it for the hell of it...

I've heard this rationalization time and again, and I'm sick of it.  If they just make games to make money, maybe they should of been stockbrokers.

I hope the hell that developers make games because they like games.  Is that such a far-out notion?  Everything isn't about greed.  If it is, this society needs to take a look at their morals.

And how many games would Valve (or anyone else for that matter) release if they lost money on every single one? Making games for the fun of it is not a reason why companies in the gaming BUSINESS exist. It might be the reason why single-person shareware games exist, but not big titles like this...
