It took me about 10 hours and 15 minutes to beat the campaign. However, I was constantly reloading checkpoints whenever I failed to complete the optional stealth and weapon challenges, so I'd think that the campaign can be played through in 8 hours.

I want to clarify, you CAN play offline cooperative, but ONLY Geurilla mode, which is the defense against waves of enemies gameplay. You can't do split-screen for the campaign.

It is fun for some couch co-op, but it doesn't extend to the campaign the way online multiplayer does.

So, you aren't surprised by the "low score" gamespot handed out, because the it took a while to make the game, and it changed too much from the original?

Gamespot gave the original Ghost Recon a score of 7.3, and Future Soldier a 7.5.... Something tells me that making it more like the original wouldn't make the score higher.

You obviously have no idea how servers work. Server software isn't included in the game.

Changed games won't be able to connect just by simple server check processes.

For example, I can't play a half-life mod and expect to be able to connect to a half-life deathmatch game if the server isn't running the same mod.

And no, Blizzard can't take legal action. Precedent for this was already set in the GeoHotz case. Once you own the disc, you can do whataver the hell you want.

It is actually scary how good this game is...

How many games today have a single player campaign that is legitimately over 8 hours, even if you rush through? It took me over 11 hours to beat this game, and I never once got bored.

Yup, the high-standard maps out there at the moment I all recognize from the hammer editing tools community.

To attest to how amazing the tools are, it took me a MONTH to make and perfect the test I made and published with the hammer editing tools. I ported it to the Steam Workshop using the editor, and it took ONE HOUR.

Though, hammer tools still have their benefits. I was unable to port my other map because it used some complex workarounds that the editor couldn't do.

I encourage everyone looking for a challenge to look for Johnathan's maps, especially "Quadro"... I really hope he puts them up on the workshop soon!

"THE CAKE IS A LIE!" It is one of those gaming meme's that became so popular, people who never played portal know what it means, and even use it.

Also, why are all the guys working at gamespot as ugly as I am, and all the ladies there so dam hot? Let's even things out a bit. Either hire some sexy guys, or mediocre chicks, but c'mon,.

For those wishing this was on the consoles:

It's highly likely that valve will at one point select a large group of player-made test chambers that are very good, and put them together as a DLC for the xbox 360 and PS3.

I mean, they've done this before with Left 4 Dead 2.
