Aemena does it hurt when you think? Your thought processes must be so cumbersome and unweildy that it just HAS to cause some amount of physical pain. Please detail it for our pleasure.

Jeff wrtoe stuff I didn't agree with either. Getting fired for his opinion was absurd.

I have been coming to this site for 6 years and I have really enjoyed it. Gamespot has always had great people working for them. I may not have always agreed with his reviews (Twilight Princess) but Jeff loved video games, loved writing about them, and loved his job. What has happenedned to him is a disgrace to the industry and a debacle of epic proportions.

Money makes the world go 'round I get it. I am not naiive. Everyone needs it to survive and prosper in a capitalist society. What these short-sighted-corporate automaton-got a college degree but don't know jack about video games-money grubbing-bottom line humping-think out of the boxing-market researching-business strategizing imbiciles don't realize is that you can't fire a free thinking and dedicated journalist because he ruffled your sponsor's feathers and expect there not to be a giant back-lash from a community like this one. We are Gamers. We are different. We buck the status quo and subvert that dominant **** paradigm.

I am behind you Jeff, speak your mind always. If we let this stand as a community we can kiss the credibility of every gaming site good bye. If companies see that they can manipulate scores by leaning on a gaming site then what the hell is the point of reviewing games. Why not make the review part of your ad campaign? $2 million for a 7.0, $10 million for a 9.5. I am boycotting Eidos and Cnet. Josh Larson you are spineless and don't give a crap about games or this community, just your paycheck.

Keep it real everyone and I'll see you on the battlefields and gridirons and pitches and sandy beaches of the games we love.

[QUOTE="WraithsLotus"]

you should change your name to halo 2 player since halo 3 isnt out maybe if your name was halo 3 beta player then itd be acceptable but after beta youd just look retarded. oh wait you look retarded right now...... (end quote)

darthzew

Dude, shutup. This isn't about this guy's name it's about Oblivion.You're the one who looks retarded right now dissing someone's nick like that. What the heck is WraithsLotus anyway?

QFT seriously. As for the topic at hand, I would say that Oblivion is much more accessible than Morrowind. That isn't to say that it babies you as a previous poster suggested. Oblivion simply improved on most aspects of Morrowind. Personally I enjoy the much more vivid world of oblivion due to voice acting and pretty good AI. Add on the fact that you always know what you need to do, and you have a very accessible game.

Especially when this information is easily available on a publisher's website. People just don't want to do any research for themselves.

obviously you did not catch the part of the origional messege stating that they could ask players for donations to keep servers going instead of forcing us to pay with no choice in the matter.

Vyrtal

I am going to go out on a pretty sturdy and unlikely to break limb and say that you might not be one of those people who donate. I will now step onto a similarly sized limb and specualte that there are many more people like you out there. I will now step onto my final limb and say that there probably are enough people like you to warrant the mandatory charges.

Pay to play I can totally understand for an MMO or other games that require large amounts of staff and tech to keep running. Paying to add armor to your horse I can not understand.
