Really? I wasn't expecting much when I went to the theatres, but i thought it was very thought-provoking and original. Very well done movie. I give it Best Picture of the year.

Yeah, when I went to see it I had heard from many people that it was a superb movie, but as I walked out of the theatre having seen it I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. While it was a good movie, I won't deny that, it just didn't truely engage or absorb me, I didn't leave the theatre thinking "wow" as I have with some of the best movies I've seen.

Seriously, either see if any of your friends know someone who you might like or go out to a bar with a few friends and see if you meet someone you like there. If yo do then ask them for their phone number then call them and ask if they want to meet up for coffee or lunch etc.

Try not to worry about it, you will eventually meet the right person for you, you just have to out yourself out there.

Battle Royale is a favourite of mine. Though the subtitles don't do it justice. I remember watching it before I learned Japanese and I still thought it was great, but having watched it again recently I found it to be a far better movie if you can actually understand what is being said instead of having to read subtitles.

La Haine(The Hatred) is another excellent film that everyone should watch, even if you don't speak French.
