How to get a boyfriend?

I really want to get a boyfriend, but am not sure how to go about doing it.

I know some of you will suggest bars, but I want a long term relationship, not random sex. And some of those places are just downright scary.

Also AIDS/STD is another concern of mine. I just had hernia surgery, so I won't be having any sex for awhile anyway.

I was really in love with one of my friends, but he was just not attracted back. Plus he has a gf now. He was in this one relationship, where he bet the other guy through another friend. It just by chance happenened that he was homosexual.

Well are you in school? If you are then ask someone out or hang out with a boy you like more to get him to like you.

If you are out of school get a job and maybe find someone there.

Seriously, either see if any of your friends know someone who you might like or go out to a bar with a few friends and see if you meet someone you like there. If yo do then ask them for their phone number then call them and ask if they want to meet up for coffee or lunch etc.

Try not to worry about it, you will eventually meet the right person for you, you just have to out yourself out there.

Just drop bars of soap in highly crowded areas, worked for me.;) On a serious note, if you're in school (highschool, college), find out if your school has a LGBT group. I dunno, that may work.

you need to go to bars and stuff why do you assume you cant find a guy in a bar?? not all guys are scum that go to bars. work on yourself your self image inside and out. Exercise and just go out and have fun in general. Dont go out to just pick up a guy go out to have fun with friends and if other guys see you are a fun person they will flock to ya. Blackfriend8
