My hdmi display stopped working after i updated it. Maybe had it on for 30 minutes total... Dont know how to say this without sounding like a troll, its just... True. The game plus mode after you beat it allows for a difficulty level that disables all indicators, very awesome indeed.

I don't get it, you guys cut DICE with the BF3 beta so much slack and BFBC2 back when it was quite buggy on release(and these aren't just visual issues, they're things that actually ruin the gameplay unlike with RAGE where it doesn't affect gameplay), and yet you won't cut id some slack for a newly established IP using massive continuous virtual textures instead of tons of tiny standard textures(as nearly all other games do) when they had to compress textures that were 150gb+ to 11gb? It's funny how you guys complain about Call of Duty's lack of innovation, keeping up this sort of attitude of unrealistic expectations that developers trying something not thoroughly researched and replicated should be able to guarantee a bug free experience day one is just asking for developers to just stop trying and to stick with old methods of doing things. On my system the game runs fine, I don't get any texture pop in with gpu transcoding enabled, and the only real issue is that the textures are highly compressed, but that will be fixed in a few days when we get a full texture pack along with mod tools. The one thing you get on all forums is people that speak their mind. While its nice to compare this to how BF3 or COD is being received the issue of RAGE being unplayable in its current state really have nothing to do with any other games. I just bought the game and am having frame rate issues along with extreme texture pop-up like most people running Radeon cards (mine is an HD 6870), my computer is a mid-high range system. Point being I should have no issues whatsoever running this game. I don't believe it's unrealistic to think that a developer that has squarely put its footing almost exclusively in the PC market would have all of these issues sorted out by release or the common sense to not release the game at all until its worked out. As you mentioned with the texture compress, this is not necessary on current PC's, in fact, a Hi-Rez texture pack should be included automatically, not through a patch.

Believe me, I am glad to hear that the game runs fine on some systems such as your own, I am just personally let down by my inability to play this game that I have been waiting to play for so long...
