[QUOTE="exgee"][QUOTE="ferrarimanf355"]Don't bother. The GT5 apologists think that car damage doesn't belong in a racing simulator. :|
Wasdie
GT5'll have damage on race cars trust me
No it wont and for good reason. Car damage in Forza is so unrealistic it is pathetic. Slam into a wall at 150 mph and then casually back up and keep racing. Can't do that in real life. The damage modeling is very wrong. GT developers only do things right, so unfortuently there wont be any damage on cars for a few more installments.
[QUOTE="Miles0T0Prower"][QUOTE="inertk"]It's quite impossible to seeing as how there hasn't been any gameplay screenshots for GT5 or prologue.
So, just like with PGR4 we're going to have to go with screens that are in-engine/game but aren't actually gameplay. Like photomode or replays. Both come smothered in vaseline.

OK I know the replays and photo mode look better than in game but why is it when people know they still post pics of it and compare it to other games adn claim ownage
How many GT games have you played to jump to this conclusion? In GT:HD the replays were similar except for the fact replays ran at 30fps and had motion blur.
PHOTO mode however adds stuff like ridiculous AA and lots of post-processing stuff. However, that's only in the PGR3 so far so I expect that the PGR4 screens haven't been heavily doctored.
So I'll go back to what I was originally saying, how do replays look any better to you? Other than the camera being at a different angle.
motion blur? what tv are you using? a lcd? i don't see motion blurs on my replays.
i have a 42' samsung 1080i plasma and it rocks! i play games on it all the time and no burn-ins. don't listen to the people that say plasma burn in that and burn in this because if you buy a plasma that is teh year 06 or higher, less than 1 percent will experience burn-ins because plasma televisions changed a lot and they have a lot of anti-burnin technology on them and plus they last as long as lcd's now. and plasmas have better picture quality, color vibrant, more contrast ratios, deeper blacks than lcd's. plus lcd's are bad for gaming because they get motion blur meaning if you have high sensitivity on resistance fall of man or other fast paced games, you will be blurred out and can't see much.
most games are going to display in 720p so it's all good. but if you want a 1080p tv for like watching movies and stuff, sure go ahead.
i wonder if microsoft has exclusive rights to the whole halo universe or just the main halo series. I mean could something haloish come to ps3?
A_Gamerz_soul
i hope microsoft doesn't bring halo to ps3, i really don't want little 12 year olds with girly voice to invade the PSN.
