I though in recent years the contrast for plasmas were not as good as they were made out to be, and all that 10,000:1 contrast was just plain dynamic contrast? Are you sure about blacks, In recent times newer rear projections like Sony's SXRD XBRs have great blacks. And their response is good enough. I'd have to research though, as I only looked into rear projections for my purchase. But I heard people complain about blacks on both LCDs and PLasmas compared to a good rear projection.

What do the blacks look like on a all black screen in total darkness with yours?

I will be. You can probably count on just about all the PS3 owners to buy it. It's a pretty big game and we will have 10 more multiplayer maps(for free) than the other console.eclipsed4utoo

same!!! if the warhawk information about 64 players with gears of war graphics were true then i'd choose warhawk over it anyday, if not, then i'ma go with graw2, but if graw2 doesn't have a lot of people play it then i'll wait a few more months then buy ut3 or haze or socom.
