Somehow I have a feeling that Microsoft's decision to allow and easier process for indie devs was because Indie devs have been asking for this for a long time.

Wow, really anti-Microsoft crowd? Skype is used by tens of millions of people across hundreds of millions of devices.

Now it's coming to the Xbox One and will be replacing party chat. It also allows for 1080p video chat to other skype users or phone calls to people's phones.

If you are some how offended by the inclusion of this feature on the Xbox One, I have to wonder why you are getting so defensive. Are you confused about having more options? Are you tired of having more features added the console without any changes to the price?

I really have to wonder about people who are negative about more features being added to a product.

It's also cool that the Xbox One is going to allow Windows 8 apps on the console, there's already over 13,000 games on the Windows 8 marketplace.

There's going to be a lot of indie games on both consoles for next gen.
