It's more of a Strategy RPG, but Valkyria Chronicles is a great game.

Both are idiotic terms used by people when they have no rational argument or want to rationalize how much they suck in a video game. I just assume anybody who uses those terms in any video games is jealous, especially when it came to World of Warcraft (which I'll be using as an example since I haven't seen it much in other games.)

"Wow dude, you pulled 5k DPS more than me? I could havedone that, but unlike you I have a life."

That's basically the only context it was ever used in. It's just an excuse to make people feel better about sucking in a video game and not taking what little effort there is to learn about the class they were playing. You have a life, thereforeyou can't take five minutes to read up on your class so you don'twaste the time of the other four people in your group? Right.

If you're going to eat wings with a knife and fork, you might as well just order chicken breast or something.

There's really no polite way to eat things like wings and ribs, and in those cases I think table manners shouldn't really apply. Just have a handful of wetnaps at your side and go at it.

I always tip pizza delivery drivers because tips are how they offset the cost of their gas.

At restaurants, I do the standard 15% tip, sometimes more if the service was exceptional. If the service was truly horrific, I might not tip, but I've only had that happen to me once (at a Denny's).

I only vaguely remember the ending but I remember feeling underwhelmed and feeling like it was a copout.

Lost started off great, but the biggest problem with it was it's a show that basically revolved around constantly introducing new questions and then abandoning them to ask more questions.

Man, I just realized how few RPGs I've actually played this gen...

Valkyria Chronicles, though probably more strategy than RPG, was a great game.

The World Ends With You was another surprise. When I bought it I didn't even know what to expect. It's one of the few games that I purchased solely on the high reviews it received and it was an overall excellent game.

And then there's Skyrim. I've probably played it for about 30 hours so far and it's everything I expected and more. I never played Morrowind and I wasn't the biggest fan of Oblivion, but so far I have no complaints about Skyrim...Well, maybe except for there being too many perks and not enough perk points, but I guess that's just a neccesary evil of the character building process. :P

Man, I have no idea how people can play like a dozen games like that. When I try that, I slowly lose interest and sort and end up never completing any of them.

Anyway, currently I'm playing Skyrim. I got about 15 hours in until I realized I royally screwed up my perks so I cut my loss and restarted. My goal is to complete everything...So basically, I'll be playing it forever. Works for me, I also may clean two years' worth of dust of my Wii to play Skyward Sword. It's been a long time since my Wii got any love and it's been an even longer time that I've looked forward to a Zelda game (didn't care for Twilight Princess).

Also replaying Final Fantasy Tactics for like the tenth time. God I love that game. So yea, gaming's pretty good for me, can't complain. :D

Here's to hoping this is a wake-up call for CoD players and you guys stop buying the same game year after year.

And has anybody checked out the Metacritic score? The review average is like 80-90 while the user review averages float around the 20-30 range. I've never been one to believe that reviews were bought, but this makes me wonder. Is it just some massive conspiracy by Battlefield players to sabotage the MW3 score or do people really dislike the game that much?
