@northArrow BTW I don't do game of the year. Many of the games I played on pc were ports of old games. Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 (both awesome, the second more so far than the first). Wolfenstein: TNO, Wasteland 2. Always Sometimes Monsters. Metro 2033 Redux. Valient Hearts. Just played Reaper of Souls. Battleblock Theater I play with my 5-year-old. Gauntlet. The Cave. I was late to Saint's Row IV, but yeah. Awesome. Started Mario Galaxy 1 again. Smh. I played so many good games this year. Dragon Age: Inquisition is just boring. Worse so far than each one of those games entertainment value wise. I'll re-evaluate if I can force myself to play 20 hours.
@northArrow I was expecting an interesting game at the bare minimum. Some of the worst writing and dialog I've ever seen in a game. Games like Resident Evil seem to at least be goofy on purpose. Worse than Bordlerlands? Idk. The graphics are better, but I can imagine at least people could goof off with friends and have fun. Maybe people are judging this by the multiplayer. I wouldn't have clue. I don't play MMOs because I like good writing in rpgs, so maybe this is what mmos are like.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is my semi-disappointment of the year. Boring. Bad writing. Terrible dialog. PC controls are fine with a controller. Tactical camera is fine. Adjusting the graphics settings will get me to 60fps, but it doesn't look that great anyway. Mass Effect 3 looked better. Biggest surprise it that they're using Frostbite. It looks like the old Bioware engine dang near aside from better depth of field. Not a huge disappointment because oddly I didn't expect anything from this game.
Shadow of Mordor is also boring. Didn't expect anything. Licensed titles often suck.
@orangeoreo Unity is pretty good. Not sure how Watch Dogs could not be boring, but then again, I think the momentum and goodwill AC2 had with me is why I still keep buying. The addictive aspects of AC are kind of like hunting for loot in Diablo with me I can play it sleepy and half bored.
@wrestlemaniaw PC gamers can float in and out of browsing the web and gaming as they choose. I was just playing Dragon Age: Inquisiiton just now. First time I noticed how these sites skew towards pc gamers, even ones that don't comment, is when Gordan Freeman won the greatest game character of all time a few years back.
@drysprocket @Kryptonbornson @billzihang You really can blame the devs AND pirates for making your experience worse (screwing you over). It's okay. This is not a multiple choice quiz or anything.
