I don't think it will benefit ms at all and it'll only hurt cd. Nobody who has chosen ps4 or PC for this gen is going to buy an x1 because of this, they'll just wait for the inevitable superior version. And if it never comes, no big deal, like I said cd will be the ones to suffer. Cd has already hurt themselves even if this does come to PC and ps4 because this was a day 1 purchase but now that sence of urgency is destroyed. Too bad. However if you don't yet have a current gen gaming devise and really want to play this or if you do have PC and/or ps4 and were thinking about also getting an x1 I guess this could be a push to do so but I'm guessing that crowd is pretty small. But I guess it could help sell a couple of units..
Anyway, on a side note, what's with "Ms needs exclusives like this to get people to graduate to Xbox"? Graduate to xbox? That's like saying I'm going to graduate collage then I'll go to high school... I'm guessing he just didn't find the right word he was looking for.
I really hope this doesn't screw people who like to play alone. I love ac but I don't have many gamer friends and and none of my gamer friends are hardcore by any means to play a co op game on this level. And all my wolf pack exp has been worse than horrible because of stupid players.
I'm really bothered by all this co op crap being thrown at us. I'm seriously bummed that 2 of my favorite games are being plagued by this. (Assassins creed and far cry) oh and the division looks great but it's mp. Ahhh I hate this, the games I was most excited about are now causing me stomach turning stress and my last hope of relief was sonys presentation but that was all stuff we knew about, some tv crap, a few indies most of which all looked the same, nothing new, and no further details about anything coming soon save a few. What a crappy e3. I'm just glad I didn't have to waste a vaction day and that I just somehow got got the day off. And to further explain why I don't care for co op is that it's so hard finding competent partners. 8 out of 10 matches of wolf pack it's people rushing for kills which is against the point and with far cry 3 my team mates always quit and the session gets kicked.
Great review, Kevin. I like that you can make critiques of a game without sounding like you're whining about it. Anyway, nothing Kevin said lessens my excitement for this game. Im pretty much bought it for the graphics because if I don't play this game first my wife will give me a hard time about buying the PS4 lol. I thought KZ2 and 3 were ok but I hated the controls and cover system and looking in the case for this game I see both those issues have been fixed. Also I didn't like that those games we're 'turn it on, hold R1 for 6 hours, and its over', so I really am happy about everything. Cant wait!!
