Steelers

always get the job done

Herrdoktor

Except when they play the Pats.

You act this way when they win by a measly three points? How about last week or the week before that? They've consistently played sloppy football. Just wait until January when they're sitting at home twidling their thumbs. The Steelers are a better team. Your defense can't always be on every game...

The more you post the more I realize that you just don't like the Pats for absolutely not reason.

The NFL is based almost entirely on the strength of a team's defense.

The Pats shut down the Steelers.

The Pats offense absolutely demolished the Steeler's secondary. Brady threw for over 350 yards.
They had three turnovers on the road and were still able to come with a win.

The Steelers played like **** and let the Patriots stick around long enough to find the endzone.

And no the Steelers aren't the better team. If they were they would have gotten the W.

Will you just SHUT UP!!!! Please I beg you! I have only read like four or five of your posts but all you do is trash other people comments. People have a right of saying their opinion without haveing a Patriots fan chew on them because of one or two wins. and don't talk trash on Herrdoktors phrase, the Steelers do get the job done and when they lose, at least it is by a field goal and to a good team, not by more then ten points and to the Panthers! I admit that the Steelers played like crap but that's how the Patriots always win. haveing their opponents choke during the game.

he'll have a good career if he can stay healthy and away from injuries. but i wouldn't go far enough to say that he'll win a Super Bowl until either the Colts or Pats lose some of their star players (That is if they will)

Atlanta @ Buffalo
Carolina @ Miami -- Want Miami to win this but doubt it
Cincinnati @ Chicago
Cleveland @ Indianapolis
Jacksonville @ NY Jets -- The Jags are my second favorite team, they need to win this one!
New Orleans @ Minnesota -- I'd be suprised if they didn't win this one
Oakland @ Philadelphia -- as said before, Oakland has one of the worst defense and T.O. will prove it
Tampa Bay @ Green Bay
Tennesse @ St. Louis -- this will be a close game, it looks like Tennesse has their Defense of old back but i trust Bulger that he won't make a mistake
Arizona @ Seattle
Dallas @ San Francisco
New England @ Pittsburgh -- come on Steelers, don't let me down
NY Giants @ San Diego -- Drew Brees has been slacking lately and expect the Chargers to be smashed early in this game

Overrated: Tom Brady

Underrated: Tim Rattay (Or whatever his name is on the niners)

Herrdoktor

Holy hell?

Would you like to give a reason?

2 SB MVPs and countless clutch games won almost entirely on his arm.

Who next? Peyton Manning?

Would you like to give a reason? i guess you didn't understand me when i said overrated. What i ment was that everybody says he is such a good QB, i know that he is a two time super bowl MVP and has one three Superbowls. What get's my attention of overrated is that they totally forget that superbowl in between when they didn't make it. and when he asks about it he just walks away, he says "I a great QB, bow down before me." (Exagerateing last sentence) but when asked about Super Bowl XXXVII he just walks away, he won't even admit that he didn't make it that year, that is what ticks my bell.

but hey, at least i didn't say he was underrated like NYJCMarts: That got me laughing

[QUOTE="VanHalun040604"]Turnovers and bad penalties gave KC the win...but who woulda thunk that the Raiders D would play the Chiefs (out of all teams) that close? They looked good in the 4-3 against the Pats and tonight against the Chiefs. Conversely, the Chiefs offense played very well in controlling the clock. All I can say for the Chiefs is....START LARRY JOHNSON OVER PRIEST! He did well...maybe it's not accurate with the carries he got, but he had a phenomenal performance. Carr's muffed punt and the HUGE penalty on Jordan's run and the BS Randy Moss O. Interference basically sealed the win for the Chiefs. Great game either way. The Raiders are still rebuilding IMO, so I didn't really expect too much from them. But I like the progress they're making...they'll be good next year. As for the Chiefs, I think this is the year for them to make it to the big game. If not, they won't have a chance for a while...Trent Green, Dick Vermeil, and the Offensive Line are all starting to age...and even though I'm a Raiders fan, I hope that if any team makes it, they do. I don't like any of the other contenders...VanHalun040604

Agreed, that was a horrible call. Unlike last game, our O line actually gave Collins time. Too bad he couldn't get it to Moss when he WAS open...

BTW, I think Curry might've been seriously hurt on that one play. It looks he re-injured his achilles when he was making his cut. Let's just hope it's nothing serious...

I actually thought it looked like he might have broken his ankle...his left foot looking really bad....:(

don't worry guys, it didn't look that serious, he'll only be out for about four to five weeks, seven at the most.
