@blackzio No you have to migrate your Live account to the new console. Then to play on the first console again you have to migrate your account again. You can only do this a certain amount of times a year. Not sure how many times.
@realdevilsalias It's not? I have it on PC and I've played it on PS3 also and it's the same game. Obviously the PC version looks better but it still plays the same.
I bought an EVGA 670 FTW this past january. It comes factory overclocked but I OC'd it a little more too. I can play all the newest games on Max no problem. Crysis 3 I average about 45 FPS. I doubt I'll even consider upgrading for another 2-3 years.
@vatorus This generation both consoles were based on completely different architectures. While the PS3 is more powerful on paper, it's much more difficult to program for, which is why you see a lot of 3rd party games being developed for 360 then ported to PS3. Since these new consoles are based on the same architecture I think the discrepancy in their power will become more noticeable as developers start to max out their capabilities.
@TorMasturba That may have been true in the past but since these consoles are using fairly standard PC architecture it'll be easier for developers to optimize their games for each specific console. So for example they might be able to run PS4 games at a higher resolution, or more AA or better lightmaps, in the same way that in PC games you can change graphics settings depending on what hardware you're running it on.
