My friend and I are planning to do hardcore after we beat the game on Zealot. I suggest u play until chapter 7 and use you 1st save there and then 2nd save at chapter 10. Those 2 chapters can be hard then the final save I assume people would use towards the end chapter 14 or 15

Servers are indeed down for maintenance. Went to ubisoft.com just now to see when they will be up but their site is down as well for maintenance until 10pm eastern. I wanted to play some MP so bad, hoping to get some latenight fun later on
Do your PC, PS3 and X-Box have there IP's set to a specific IP address or do they get one when they connect to the router? If you have assigned them yourself one might be conflicting with the other on your network, ie the PS3 is trying to get IP 102 but your X-Box/PC is set to 102 so the router bounces back and forth between both trying to giving access to both, but can't give access to both at the same time.

I think thats my problem, the ps3 says automatic on the address settings settings and the pc address is different. Any way to fix this?
Looking forward to the demo myself. Id like to see updates at 3pm eastern instead of late afternoon

Dead Space 2 Hardcore mode made me cry. Anyone who tried it? How far did you go?

I got to chapter...crap I think it is four or five, the part when you first fight the stalkers. I have used up one if my saves and I don;t think i can get past these guys because I have no stasis and no ammo, i'm down to just throwing crap at them and that probably doesn;t even work on normal.
Idk why but i just cant help but laugh at this. Not in mean way but this part here "I have no stasis and no ammo, i'm down to just throwing crap at them". I wish u the best of luck in getting past that part and beating the game in hardcore. Also ty to the posters that clarified that you cant carry over upgrades in Hardcore mode my friend and I thought otherwise.
Im sorta having a similar problem, last 3 days i havent been able to sign into psn nor had internet access at times.I unplugged the router and then plugged it back and its been working just fine. Its annoying for sure as I dont want to have to do that all the time now but maybe if u do that, it might work for you too.
Serial keys would also kill used-game sales and from a business standpoint for Sony and developers, its a great idea. If Sony goes through with it, I wouldnt be suprised if Microsoft doesnt ponder doing the same if it works or if its going to become a feature in the next-gen consoles. You cant blame Sony for this, blame those dang hackers, because of them the rest have to suffer.
U got to have something unique to you and creative so u wont hate it like a year later, noone can help u with that.
I loved Origins and looks like they improving the game for the sequel. Definetelly buying day one.
Yeah SE sucks a lot lately but they are publisher for Deus Ex: Human Revolution and until Deus Ex releases SE is relevant to me atm. No new release date has been announced and Eidos seems to be doing a good job with Deus Ex so im waiting to see what happens.
