New to MMO's? I didn't even read all the posts but is this serious? ALL PAY TO PLAY GAMES REQUIRE PAYMENT INFO TO ACTIVATE THE GAME... Name em', WoW, Aion, Rift, etc. Lock thread?

MW3, not much to say, SP was short, game feels too old, and a developer that asks users to upvote their product because its metacritic score was horrible is pathetic. Crysis 2, not because the game was bad, but the incredible lack of patching and support.

I wouldn't know, I've tried most BF games but never enough to know what the differences are. Maybe, what I'm doing is comparing it to CoD subconciously. Maybe its the whole idea of having dog fights up in the air, and armored vehicles clashing, while a mobile attack is in progress. Also, I just find BF3 will have more depth into it's multiplayer. I'm not dissing CoD, I've played all of them and played them a lot, it's just that I'm sick of the same **** over and over when I need to pay every year for the same thing. Maybe I go wrong by saying innovation, but I'm sure we can agree that it is different from previous BF games in some way, and very different from CoD.

To start off, I can't wait for the official launch.

I've seen several people complain about the map... Seriously? The map is really fun, it's massive and as you progress through the match your play style needs change along with the setting. Out in an open field where snipers are very viable, then down into the metro where most of the fighting is close quarter, and then out into the streets of Paris where every class is useful because enemies may be hidden on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of buildings, camping in an alley, or out in the open. Team play is really important, whether it be for clearing out areas to push forward, or covering bombsites. The game gets really hectic when firefights break out in specific area's of the map.

The gameplay is fun, there are many bugs to yet be fixed, but I wasn't expecting a polished game out of beta. At first I wasn't a fan of battlelog, but after spending a few hours playing the game, in and out of servers, it started to settle in. I've seen a lot of people complain about the game, but really set aside the bugs, if you like FPS games, this is one of the greatest, or at least will be. I would say most of the haters out there are players who have little awareness and/or reflexes, hence get killed over and over untill they rage. If not, CoD fans, or players who were expecting the previous Battlefield game feel. Some say it feels like Bad Company 2, and others say Medal of Honor, really it's a little of both worlds, but we can't yet jump to that conclusion because the only map we have available is Metro. I'm sure once the game launches and we have access to all the maps our opinions might change. Games are meant to be innovated, we can't expect BF3 to be exactly like BF2 but with better graphics...

I'll probably buy it when it has a price drop. I've played all the CoD's and enjoyed them all, but this time BF3 looks fresh, different, intense and visually more apealing (not to mention it isn't a console port) so, really I will definately get MW3, but not for a while.

Leading game genre's are MMO's and FPS's. In both worlds there are hardcore and casuals, so combine both you get MMOFPS and I think it would really work. See I wouldn't mind grouping with buddies to go into some sort of warzone where strategy must be used and executed according to the type (class) of soldier you play. Where you have the WoW dungeon/raid format, except playing through using actual accuracy, reflex and perception skills and done through first person perspective. We really don't know what titan is about, what it's going to be like, or infact we know nothing of the game. But if it can combine the best of both worlds, I would definately play a game that does so, and does it well.

Think about it this way, if you ran max settings in BC2 without a problem, there isn't a major difference between Frostbite 2.5 - 3.0. Personally I have SLI 570 GTX and running Crysis 2 at everything maxed out including the new graphic packs with fps always way above 60fps.

Cool, my PC over shoots all the recommended requirements :)

Aside from the major disapointment with Crysis 2, Crytek did one thing right, and that was making me buy top end hardware, which will likely even allow me to run maximum settings even in 64 player maps. I finaly get to test out my rig!

Dino Crisis was fun. Resident Evil style game except you you get spooked by dinosaurs.
