I find it strange that the colours look slightly different between the consoles. The 360 seems to look more washed out, while the PS3 seems brighter. Conversely, the 360 seems to have slightly sharper textures than the PS3. The differences are ultimately minimal though, just play the games and have fun, regardless of which console you own.
All I'm going to say is that anyone with a brain can tell from these pictures that in order from best to worst it's: PC, PS3, Xbox 360. That being said, this is no indication of which console is "superior" than the other. It depends on the developer, engine, and game in general. Just look at Bayonetta, the 360 version looks way better than the PS3 version, so it just depends on the game and developer. As a general rule of thumb the PC is always capable of putting out superior graphics than both consoles, but in order to actually get any noticeable difference you're going to have to have a stupidly powerful PC, which most people don't have so the differences between platforms are largely negligible, just have fun and play whichever version you get, when you're too busy having fun playing the game you're barely going to even notice any of the differences anyway.
Nobuo Uematsu is one of my heroes. Songs like The Prelude, Celes' Theme, Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII, My Mind, Someday the Dream Will End... completely changed my life. Easily tops my list of people I would like to shake hands with one day. Yasunori Mitsuda and Motoi Sakuraba are also favourites of mine. Chrono Trigger and the Golden Sun games have some of the most beautiful compositions I have ever heard.
The video was hilarious. I think a remake of FFVII is badly needed because despite the fact that I think it is one of the best games ever created, the new story stuff from all of the compilation games, and the updated graphics/CGI has pretty much rendered FFVII obsolete. A remake is needed to round off this compilation and make it complete.
I just played through Half-Life again recently and everytime I play it, I am reminded about how great of a game it truly is. One of my all-time favourites, and it's great to see it inducted into GameSpot's greated games of all time, because it is.
