@HuSSaR83: im also surprised no one gets killed by pokemon, have you seen those things fight each other? it must be a conspiracy by nintendo to keep things under wrap! or aliens..
@urbanman2004: yeah its stupid, i played pkmn when i was a kid but this is overdoing it, good thing it doesn't have trading tough. Just imagine the pokemon nerds trading hundreds in bitcoins for pokemon.
@kazeswen: food for lulz you mean. The only games that come even near to a level of difficulty you describe are the nintendo hard games. You are just packaging every game from that era into that category.
@Delston: True, this is his style of crazy, but it feels like he tried harder to be... crazier, than he normally pretends to be.
Bro with a c section, naked, holding a baby with an artificial umbilical cord, in a beach full of dead crap.... screams more Kojima than Kojima himself lol
@maitkarro: Yeah but it was my first time running it, i had to adapt to all the enemies and weapons in 9 hours. I speed ran someone after finishing nue for the first time, took him all the way to the boat without dying (well obviously, or i would have been kicked) in like 40 minutes, im just saying i never spent this little time adapting to a DaS like game.
And yeah, the weapons and equipment breaking down part was a freaking pain for the first 4 hours, but then i realised i can just farm mobs and player graves for new stuff.
I also played those games, except DaS3. At least in my experience i found Nioh enemies easier to cheese.
@Scarshi: Addiction talk?, im talking about the game difficulty and how people said it was hard when i found bloodborne and DaS harder. Maybe the majority of users screwed their characters by spending levels on every single tree and weapon or they were not using the correct stance against each enemy but i couldn't find a single weapon that had any problem fighting normal mobs. Bosses kind of forced me to use swords but thats it.
I spent 4 hours of the game creating 2 characters and testing ninjutsu, onmyoji talismans and spears hammers and swords, then i concluded ninjutsu sucks, talismans are great buffs, and any weapon is great, swords being the most adaptable and op, so i went to sleep. Next day i had nothing better to do so i created my final character and cleared the game in 9 hours straight. Even with knowledge of the game mechanics i dont think i could finish two areas in Bb or DaS in under 10 hours on my first run....
Like i said, i don't know what people are comparing this to when they say it was hard.
I know i played DeS DaS and Bloodborne first so i had the previous experience factor in my favour, but it took me only about 9 hours to get through the entire demo, and i can't remember how many months it was since i last played Bloodborne before Nioh. The learning curve was a bit more steep but the enemies were much slower.
By the time the demo ended i had farmed Nue like 6 times solo... hard, rly?
