[QUOTE="Kizzle28"][QUOTE="TheSpidren"]I won't support some whiny company that sues everyone else with extremely exaggerated demands (all the profits Gears of War made?? Shut up and sit down, silicon knights).
Unreal 3 Engine was made by Epic, so why do silicon knights feel the need to get special treatment? Hurry up and release the flop too human or whatever which was originally intended on the ps1 but kept getting delayed for god knows why (maybe because epic was fiddling with their Unreal 3 engine ohnoez)I generally hate anyone who tries to take advantage of any small opportunity they see and try to sue millions of dollars from it.

And you have no idea of how business works. If you sign a contract, you honour it, simple. Epic didn't honour it, so now their gettin' bit in the ass.
Allegedly. Just because SK says something doesnt make it true either.
I guess there's no such thing as innocent until proven guilty. Next time you are alleged to have stolen money i'll assume you're guilty first, yeah
Not to be an ass, but you don't know the industry. I do, even with my limited experience. And middleware like the UE3 is a hot commodity right now. Epic is getting a little careless, if you ask me. Not delivering on what your company promises is a huge deal, especially when you have a deadline to reach. When making a game, you try and do all you can to reach that goal, but when Epic doesn't do what they say their gonna do, then the developer gets screwed.
And when Epic doesn't do those things, the developer eats the cost of prolonged development time, or in the case of E3 2006, bad publicity and a general bad image of the game, Too Human.
