I won't support some whiny company that sues everyone else with extremely exaggerated demands (all the profits Gears of War made?? Shut up and sit down, silicon knights).

Unreal 3 Engine was made by Epic, so why do silicon knights feel the need to get special treatment? Hurry up and release the flop too human or whatever which was originally intended on the ps1 but kept getting delayed for god knows why (maybe because epic was fiddling with their Unreal 3 engine ohnoez)

I generally hate anyone who tries to take advantage of any small opportunity they see and try to sue millions of dollars from it.

And you have no idea of how business works. If you sign a contract, you honour it, simple. Epic didn't honour it, so now their gettin' bit in the ass.

Allegedly. Just because SK says something doesnt make it true either.

I guess there's no such thing as innocent until proven guilty. Next time you are alleged to have stolen money i'll assume you're guilty first, yeah

Not to be an ass, but you don't know the industry. I do, even with my limited experience. And middleware like the UE3 is a hot commodity right now. Epic is getting a little careless, if you ask me. Not delivering on what your company promises is a huge deal, especially when you have a deadline to reach. When making a game, you try and do all you can to reach that goal, but when Epic doesn't do what they say their gonna do, then the developer gets screwed.

And when Epic doesn't do those things, the developer eats the cost of prolonged development time, or in the case of E3 2006, bad publicity and a general bad image of the game, Too Human.

I hope the game is fun and works well.

But yes, it looks pretty good. Not amazing, IMO, but pretty good.

[QUOTE="Kizzle28"]Meh. It's not about individual reviews, but about the collective review. If most reviewers give it a good score, chances are its good.SillyManimal

I agree, but on GS only GS scores matter.

And that is why I don't try and argue about what games I think are good. Fanboys run this place, you know.

God no! Killzone, sorry to say, is so freakin' generic. Sure it looks good, but so what? So does Crysis, and that could end up being a **** game. Killzone garners more hype than it's worth...

The CURRENT saling rate??? It'sCURRENTLY outselling the 360 globaly. Now I do believe this to be pretty temporary & would be surprised if it even outsells the 360 again in Aug.Sgt_Hale

Umm, it has outsold the 360 for about a week, because of the "price drop". Sales will probably return to dismal after the 60 GB units have cleared. Sorry, but offering the same system, minus PS2 chip, burt with an extra 20 GB is hardly worth $600. Not to a gamer anyway.

I still maintain that the 360, Wii (unless they fix a few things), and PS3 will all be pretty much neck-to-neck-to-neck. I personally don't see the PS3 outselling the 360 or Wii in total sales ever, even if Blu-Ray wins the format war. 2008 looks pretty strong for PS3, but by that time, many people will have already bought a Wii or 360, especially with GTA 4, Halo 3, Bioshock, and Mass Effect arriving before Christmas.

The PS3's holiday lineup isn't that impressive unfortunately, so I don't think you'll see a huge spike until MGS 4 finally releases as well as FF13. That could be around summer 2008. By then, the 360 and Wii will have already established quite a lead and the PS3 will have a hard time catching up.

Crappy for us gamers, though. Just as we thought Sony dropped the price, we realize they pulled a 'bait and switch'. This stunt here isn't gonna win Sony any gamers. Deception like that pisses people off. If anything, we will see the PS3 pick up steam in fall 2008 and 2009. But it will be too late. Sony will probably end up 2nd or 3rd, its a toss up between any of the three companies. Like I said, I think all consoles will be so close in sales.

I'm getting the PC version so I can play with UT3. We just started UT2.5 in school and it rocks. So, I'm looking forward to UT3 engine.

But for consoles, I would say 360, if just for the online support. If I wanted mods, I'd go with PC. The mods on PS3 could provide some security issues. Let's hope that they regulate that crap.

It probably has HUGE infulence from God of War, so I think it is, yes. But that isn't a bad thing. If they can emulate that gamplay, and add their own flavor and story, then it should be good. Borrowing from successful franchises isn't bad, you just have to have enough of your own ideas to make it yours, not just another God of War ripoff.
