While I don't consider myself a lemming (I've got more than one beef with Microsoft...) I do have a 360 and, if given the opportunity, would most likely buy Killzone 2. I do love me some shooters...
One thing i wouldnt do is hype the graphics, they got it all the way to a 6.9 not even A. If they drastically improved the gameplay and got rid of the monotonous 3 color paint scheme.
If Killzone2 looking exactly the same was shown for 360 it would be hyped like crazy by the lemmings. Just like cows would be hyping Mass Effect. It's stupid to deny the other system has games you might like.
God no! Killzone, sorry to say, is so freakin' generic. Sure it looks good, but so what? So does Crysis, and that could end up being a **** game. Killzone garners more hype than it's worth...
Killzone 2 has me mixed right now... on one hand, the soundtrack during the demo reel was amazing, absolutely solid, immersive, exciting - everything was done right to create that crowded, noisy war zone. The character movements were great too. On the other hand, the facial expression were pretty off, and the enemy AI seemed poor, amongst decent level layout, the enemies sort of put themselves in bad situations, unlike say, GRAW, where you had to worry about getting flanked.
Plus, we know so little about Killzone 2, outside of a fake 2005 trailer, and real 2007 one.
Maybe. It was a good realtime demo, but I'm not ready to trust guerrilla yet. If it's good, I would purchase it.
Then again, I'll probably end up getting a Ps3 by the time KZ2 comes out, so if it's actually beyond decent I'll most probably end up with it in my paws.
i would most certainly buy it... maybe not if it got horrible reviews (which is possible don't deny it.. but hopefully the millions of dollars will make it match the hype) but i liked the first one for awhile even in spite of it's bad reviews.
