@Yams1980: No, but you can pay off the media to make this seem like an epidemic in order to get your own cops killed, while black people murder one another in droves an no one seems to notice.

Ding Chavez disagrees.

I played the Rainbow series from the beginning, and the news that Rainbow was going straight multiplayer really disappointed me. I don't understand how a game that once had a planning phase where you assembled teams, determined their weapons and armor levels became just another multiplayer shooter. I guess it's all about the dollar now. I played RS Siege over the free weekend and enjoyed the terrorist hunt aspect of it but didn't play multiplayer because that's not why I play games. Ultimately I did not buy the game. I would pay up to $15 for the game because, for only terrorist hunt, that's all this game is worth. Too bad, I would have paid full price for a single player game. I hope Ubisoft is listening. But, probably not.

I was out running errands the other day and this fat woman in a minivan was blocking traffic. The reason: so her kid could catch Pokemon on the sidewalk.

Just not seeing the epic. I have this game on my wish list, but it's not a day one purchase, and I stopped with the pre-order nonsense long ago. My guess is that this game with get mediocre reviews, which on Gamespot usually amounts to a 7/10. It just seems to me that this game's giant universe is the selling point, rather than the actual gameplay. That's a bad thing. I hope I am proved wrong.

So Iron man is a black girl and Thor is a girl and it turns out that Captain America is a traitor. Then Bendis brings in the race card and states people will realize that we need progressive thinking.

But no agenda here. It's just nice that a bald, white man is here to represent black women and tell their story. Next stunner: Spider man converts to Islam.

Entitled, rich, Hollywood teenager waxes philosophic on the deeper meaning of life and then someone else thinks these bits of wisdom are so enlightening that they collect the quotes and make a mod around them. Yes, you're living in Bizarro World.

@Stinger78: We need to ban all guns because if we do so, we all know the criminals will gladly give theirs up, and in no way would they ever be able to get another one since we have completely secure borders where gun smuggling could never happen.

They say video games don't cause violence. I wonder about desensitivity. None of those made me feel anything. Except a little embarrassed. Maybe it's a matter of age (being 42 now and having played video games since the Atari 2600), but I think most of this stuff is just juvenile.

I remember the shock over the fatalities in the original Mortal Kombat. I remember how games like Night Trap were in the news. Then it was Grand Theft Auto. And now, none of this even registers. Even a game like Hatred, which saw some controversy among gamers, barely made a blip in the media. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's essential that video games continue to push boundaries, but a lot of this stuff just strikes me as dumb.
