I don't own it but I'd love to play it. Lucienne's Quest on 3DO. However these days the game costs like $200-300 on ebay so that's not going to happen for me anytime soon.

I do also remember Beyond the Beyond fondly from my old Playstation Days, that and Breath of Fire from SNES.

I love the controller myself. The only think I can even grumble about is the lack of a headphone jack. Wii U and PS4 got that one right but hey I guess you can't have everything.

If you're feeling homesick for your friends and larger user base then pop out your Xbox 360 and play on it while you wait for the rest of your friends to catch up.

I love my Xbox One. I too don't pick sides and plan on picking up a PS4 once they become available in my area again. That being said I don't sue the Kinect at all. It's just a personal preference. My annoyance with that is that I get a lot of messages with error codes telling me my Kinect isn't connected, that bugs me. Other then that the system is amazing and fun. It feels like a beefer 360 but I'm still waiting for a lot of the great games to come out on it. The launch lineup was quasi-weak in my opnion (for both systems) and I mainly picked it up this early in the game because I wanted the Day One stuff. I like it though and I'd say if your curious about it and the exclusives look good to you pick one up when you can.

I agree with @Smokescreened84's final statement. DS9 is a great series and you should try and watch it all the way through. By the end the show get's intense and we get a glimps of what a full fledged war is like in the Star Trek universe. I feel thatt DS9 inspired the concepts of continuing story arch which lead to shows like the Battlestar Galactica remake and Falling Skies etc.

Don't know how it plays on the PS3, I have it on the Xbox, but I can say the servers get laggy in the evenings when everybody's playing. Trying to interact any way in the game world can take a few seconds, i.e. accessing a vendor or switching your weapon will take about 4 seconds to happen after you hit the button. Arkfalls tend to have major frame rate drops no matter what time of day though, due to the number of players and the outdated specs of the console. They are, however actively working to optimize the servers for the consoles: tonight didn't seem as bad as previous nights, as I was actually able to log in without a server queue message and I wasn't disconnected at all (I had a few random disconnects Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, none Friday though). If you want a game with a currently smoother experience I'd say go with the PC, but if you're willing to wait for them to iron out the kinks go with whichever console you prefer, both are going to require some work on the part of Trion, considering this is the first major MMO release on consoles in several years. The only thing you'll have to worry about is the frame rates during Arkfalls, not sure how they'll be able to compensate for the number of people and enemies on the screen at one time with the 360 and PS3's hardwares.JuggaloZero

Thank you for the reply. Yah I'm leaning towards Xbox 360 myself. I asked the same question on the trion webpage and a punch of PC gamers jump out of the forums and started telling me I was a being silly for wanting an MMORPG on a console. I suppose Trion could lower the textures or animations of players when they group up in large numbers to help the flow of the game, at least untill a better solution can be made. Well thank you for your calm and rational response you may have just convinced me to go green lol.

So I'm going to be getting the game soon and was considering what platform to buy it on. I own both the Xbox 360 and PS3 and I do have a high end gaming PC. However I play a LOT on my PC and I want to spend some time on my consoles. I've heard people on the PS3 complaining about PvP being laggy and large groups of players slowing the game down a lot. I was wondering if  anyone could confirm this and or also tell me about their experience on the Xbox 360?

Mine died too, I'm taking it back in the morning. I wonder if I can get a refund because they may not have any systems to give to me.

that video was painful to watch...calling it the next xbox 360 is premature... i know your pissed off...but making a video and posting it everywhere so people won't buy it is not doing anyone any favors.

I'm not trying to get people to not buy Wii U however I do think its only fair that people are aware that there are issues. Type in Wii U Red light of Death on Youtube's search bar and you'll find others too. At this point Nintendo should be doing me favors, not the other way around as you suggest.

An update to my story, Gamespot got me a new Wii U so lets hope this one dosn't have any problems. If it works fine then all will be forgiven in my eyes. I don't know how many people out there are having issues with their systems and for the record I never posted the video to convince people away from the system. Rather I think people should know that Wii Us can break and that that was what it looked like. For the record the Wii U is a fun system to play on, my biggest downer on it is that the Gamepad's battery dies WAY to quickly and load times can be long. My recomendation to anyone out there is, buy it if you love Nintendo and want a Wii U, if you're on the fence give it a few months if not half a year for Nintendo to work out all the bugs before jumping in. Then again this experience has taught me that and when Xbox 720 comes out I'll probably give it a few months for people to report bugs and for Microsoft to get all the OS issues worked out.
