@batusai4ever: Bungie is in a lot of trouble. The game was budgeted to have the lifespan of Destiny 1 and as of now not even a full year after release it's nearly dead on all platforms. Sometimes with user counts in the hundreds or low thousands. Events not even getting 10k people back online.
The game's PR has been so poor that the third game they've scheduled to make is likely already cancelled. A victim of short term profit greed at the expense of long term viability.
@xnshd: For me it came with the CE I got. I'd made the mistake of abandoning Destiny 1 before it got good and figured that Destiny 2 would pick up where Destiny 1 left off...wrong I was.
@darkelf83: Well as someone in the same boat, it could end up just like the last one. Painfully generic and a massive mistake lore wise.
"Osiris was right but people weren't ready for that truth." Are you...admitting that the Traveler is evil and the Speaker a charleton. Cause that's what he was saying that got him banished. Though we as players know that the speaker was a liar, no one in the Destiny universe rightfully knows this other than Ghaul.
@MondasM: Rumor has it that engine they're using is absolute garbage. In addition to plain greed this influenced a lot of the decisions in the development of Destiny 2.
There used to be a joke about how the remaining very few players will be excited, but given that player counts were below 10k months ago and the numbers dipping as low as a few hundred this joke just took on a whole new light. Yet despite this, the most important fixes to the game won't come out till fall. This is the most pathetic development I've seen in a long while.
@UrbanMessiah: After "We Waz Kangz," the series is going to be axed. The last two entries have sold so poorly that Empire will be the last attempt at the series. If Empire underperforms Assassin's Creed is finished.
