I agree that the graphics look dated and the cars seem to handle the same. The music, though, is amazing. I've had it since launch but have only started playing it some (just got a blue badge). Right now it's hardly an 8.5, but I'll give it more of a chance.

Can't say that I agree with you. Part of the beauty of this game is it's simplicity. Plus, videogames stories are rarely any good. Adding additional plot elements to this game would just muddy the waters so to speak. The guy in this game is doing what he's doing for a girl--that's a universally accepted premise and it's all the story I need.

Either that or the guitar isn't in tune or the intonation is off.

I enjoy this game immensely. Still playing the career mode and I bought this on the PC day one. Add me if you are a PC player--username is Keivz.

Anyone else notice how infrequently you race on the Spa circuit in the career mode. I wasn't even sure the track was in the game. Best I can tell you don't race on it until one of the very last races before the GT3 championship. Love that track.

Agreed. Though I don't know if BlackBox is the right choice. They did the atrocious NFS Undercover afterall.

I've played through it once so far. I completed Roche's path which was filled with many decisions that are sure to impact the witcher III. I'm curious what were other people choose and why?

Here were my choices:

1. Aryan La Valette

I convinced him to surrender and saved him in the dungeon mostly because he seemed a reasonable enough chap.

2. Roche or Iorveth

It seemed illogical to go with Iorveth given Roche and I were on good terms at this point so I went with Roche. Although I was true to my word with Iorveth when we encountered Letho and handed him his sword.

3. Henselt--Live or Die

I let him live given that killing him would only serve the Kingslayer's aims which we had been fighting against up to that point.

4. Roche (Anais) or Triss

I choose Triss. She was the main reason I went to Loc Muinne.

5. Sile de Tansarville

I let the her die in the portal. She got what she deserved!

6. Saesenthessis

I put it out of its misery.

7. Letho

I really wanted to fight this guy but I let him go because he really wasn't my enemy, he never harmed Triss or any of my other friends, and he was a fellow witcher. Will definetly fight him when I do Iorveth's path (which will be a 'non-canon' playthrough if you will).

I'm honestly excited for neither but as a racing fan I need my fix this season. Of the two, I'll likely get NFS: MW if the reviews are favorable (and don't seem obviously bought *cough* Horizon *cough*).

Same way it's done on consoles: Via a USB connector. Presumably the connector on the consoles will work for the PC. You'll also need either a bass, acoustic-electric, or an electric guitar with an instrument cable of course.

Indeed.

Though I can't see your sig, your system sounds similar to mine (8800 gt/e8400) and I get only 30 fps in the open citadel in Mass Effect maxed out at 1440x900. Otherwise it's 60 fps unless there's a massive firefight. You'd think with all the power of the 8800gt it'd be able to handle practically any and everything, especially from a console port... nothing's guarenteed I s'pose.

Everyone, no matter their preferred console, should agree that this is very unfair.the_one34

I frankly do not see what all the hype is about here. People are blowing this way out of proportion. And conspiracy theories? C'mon people?! What ever happened to occam's razor?

Listen, first of all, in the GT comparison vids, all they do is show one version of a game compared (often side by side) with another. They leave the judgement to the viewer. This video reportedly illustrates better crashes on the '360 version' when in fact both vids are from the PS3. But who on earth would infer that the crashes in a racing game are better between consoles from one video snippet? Especially when the crashes are from different angles. And any idiot who has played a racing game knows that it's nearly impossible to recreate a crash exactly and would thus take that into account when viewing it. Right?

And, think about it, if you were trying to doctor one game's footage to look better than another one would you use the same console to do the doctoring? Would you try to use crash footage to try to illustrate a difference (which, as above, doesn't make any sense especially if you're trying to do it on the same console)? There are a million other ways to do it especially in this day and age of video editing tools. A better idea would be to fool with the frame rate on an edited video, or reduce the sharpness, or anything else. Using the same console to try to 'doctor' crash footage would be last on my list if on my list at all.

A simpler explaination (and the only one that makes sense), is that they screwed up the editing--a very simple and human mistake.

As an aside, this game runs at 1280x720x4xAA on the 360 and 1280x720x2xAA on the PS3.
