@grognard - Sony? Not at all. Please accept other peoples opinions without resorting to childish behavior. Disliking the "One" doesn't mean I am a Sony fanboy. I owned both the PS3 and 360 so I have no "loyalty" to either one.

Don't know why this brand loyalty exists. Microsoft has shown here that they are out of touch with what gamers actually want. This is a glorified entertainment system. At a reveal event they give the stage to EA for sports and to a CoD game? They force kinect on you and kill themselves by saying you need to pay for used games to be activated? Why would anyone buy this? Have no idea why it's even an issue now. The Xbox One is a real fail in so many ways, Microsoft is out of touch and it is a shame that some people will still buy this just cause they liked the 360.

@FoxbatAlpha - All of the dancing around in front of the TV hardware was a complete fail. Don't cry.

This smells like the MW2 boycott on Steam, almost all the members ended up buying it anyway. Do not buy this console and let it fail. Don't moan about it then buy it anyway. There's no need for you to buy it :)

And my girlfriend who studied film and TV discussed economic theory in her post grad. Afraid it's not making me question my 10 years studying in electronics engineering :|
