@dacontag & @dragoonmike:

Well, not necessarily. He IS a gamer and a big fan of the franchise AND he apparently even asked for a part. So he could be doing it for free or even just a small "tip" (get it).

"...an AI trapped inside the body of a teddy bear..." -- When I first read that part on my RSS feed, the very first thing that came to my mind was the excellent series Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio. You'd know EXACTLY what I mean if you've seen it.

Yeah, I agree with many of the sentiments in the video. As much as I like JJ Abrams & much of his work, if I'm going to be honest here, someone like me who grew up in the late-90's watching The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager (& even some TOS reruns), on an almost-nightly basis, could never TRULY accept his shiny reboot universe. So my friends & I are all in on this new series. Show 'em how it's done, Captain Picard. Or is it Admiral now? With TOS Kirk's "advice", I actually wouldn't be surprised either way. Y'all true fans out there know what I'm talkin about.

"...become a 'boutique publisher'..." -- Hey don't get me wrong here, I've always liked Quantic Dream and the work they've done over the years, especially now that they're becoming multiplatform. But when I read that line above? I accidentally sprayed my mouthful of coffee at our cat's face.

Ohh, that's too bad. I was hoping there'd be a novel or two you can recommend about these wars; I just love 'em, LOL. Anyway, I'll check those other books out, thanks for the info!

Watched your video on my YouTube feed first and you guys got me really interested in these so-called "Corporate Wars" thing. Now I know you said Cyberpunk Red is the Jumpstart Kit for the tabletop RPG (I know NOTHING about TRPGs,so apologies if I got it mixed up), but regardless, is there like a book or novel or any other media that actually gets into these wars? I just find it so fascinating that these corporations are so powerful that they're basically waging MULTIPLE World Wars--sometimes with tactical nukes even--and ACTUAL nations can't do shit about it. Well, until that last one you guys mentioned.

Hah, pretty catchy theme song. Though it would've blown my mind had Teen Titans' Puffy Ami-Yumi done it.

LAWL. From your description, Slumber Party Massacre II sounds like fun hilarious nonsense; will check it out. But umm, wait, whatever happened to part 1 or part I or whatever? Or is that just not a thing? Like when Episode 4: A New Hope first came out.

EDIT: NVM. I just confirmed it for myself. There IS a prequel, and it's streaming on Shudder as well, you just never bothered to mention it for whatever reason. And yes, for those who wanna know like me AND wanna see the whole series, there's even a third one.
