It means no MW3 for you. Not on that particular PS3 at any rate. This is an error code that Sony will NOT acknowledge. I got this error with PGA tour 10 and Killzone 2. In my case I KNOW it happened after a firmware update. There really isn't a suitable fix for it and as I mentioned Sony will NOT acknowledge the existance of this code even though they have recieved many support calls regarding it including mine. The fix MonkeySpot posted works for a very small percentage of machines & was totally ineffective in my case. There is also a fix that involves accessing & restoring corrupt files in your HDD but again vin my case it did nothing. I wish you luck in solving it but as I said in my case NOTHING would get my machine to read those games. You could also try using a different copy of the game (which I didn't bother trying) or try setting up a new user account on your machine & trying it on that. I wish you the best of luck with this most infuriating error but I wouldn't expect any help from Sony tech support.

it sounds like the cache needs to be cleared after a period of time, which requires a restart of the game. And it's always a good idea to take a break every 1-2 hours.Deathtransit

Exactly what I was thinking. I think it may be similar to gaming on a weaker PC. New Vegas runs surprisingly well on my laptop with medium/high settings, but every 3-4 hours it will start to stutter & produce graphical anomalies. Quitting & restarting always fixes it for another few hours again.

Still, like other posters have mentioned I too am very curious with the seeming discrepancies between different PS3 models. Some games (Crysis comes to mind) run poorly for some & perfectly for others. Strange.

So far I have had absolutely ZERO issues with Skyrim on account of the fact that I am buying it tomorrow :) but I will certainly be posting back if I encounter any wierdness. I entered this thread in order to garner more friendly PS3 details surrounding the release version of the game.

You can save anytime and if you're new to Bethesda games you'd do well to follow the first law of Bethesda's open world games which is to SAVE OFTEN!! Every 10 minutes is not unrealistic.

Trine, Braid, Beat Hazard, Red Baron Arcade, Payday, etc, etc. PSN has tons of awesome games for DLL. Outland will be my next one. Can't wait.
