@naryanrobinson: same. I bought W1 with 2 a year or two before W3 came out, but never got around to trying W1 until Oct 2017 (I like trying dark, broody games around this time of year). Barely played 5 hours. Five years later, haven't gone back to it, despite the promise of mods and all.
Okay, saw the headline. Stop. Step back, read the sales blurb for the game - it's billed as a remaster.
Is a Squenix remaster closer to a remake? Probably, probably not. FF7R is an outlier amongst many that keep things crystal clear - and this game's closer to remaster than we'd think.
Just setting expectations; if we go around bandying the terms willy nilly, we'll set ourselves up for disappointment, invariably.
@vgmkyle: It's still not that hard to predict how movies will ultimately end WHILE one is watching them. It gets easier as the film progresses. I do it all the time with everything, and that doesn't detract from their quality.
@operatorzero: sending a message isn't a singular objective. It's a classification of a set of objectives covering overlap with pretty much anything else.
A message is inferred if it's not intended, btw, so your screenwriter pal's advice does not take into account is unavoidability.
P.S. If we're talking about Geno Scala, I stopped listening to that guy.
