Just wondering, does anybody know of a patch that allows for Bloodshed Dev C++ to work properly with Vista? It will compile fine and all, but when I run it, it says that the source code was not compiled. Suggestions?

Yeah I can see what your saying. I picked it up and absolutley shreded the solo's on expert the first time. But I actually really like it like that. I mean it still requires skill to do that good, but its nice cause you don't have to be perfect to get almost all the notes. Must say I am really impressed with the game and am now looking forward to it more than ever.

My God those screens of RE5 look absoluetly amazing. I also like that fact that you can play MGS4 in FP view. Its going to be like an entirely different game depending on which view point you play throught with.

Should I just go ahead and get a replacement or wait for it to die out?

So last night, I got home and turned on my computer and went about my business like usual. Finally I got on and started playing WoW for about 20 minutes. However, while I was in the middle of it, the computer locked up for the first time since I started running Vista in early May. So I had to do a hard restart on the machine, however, when I did, nothing came up on the screen. One thing I also noticed was that my HDD LED on the front of the computer wasn't lighting up. So I turned it off and tried again. A few more times brought the same results, the screen was blank, no BIOs or anything. So I took it out and looked inside, tried a few more times, still nothing. I decided to pull the MB battery out and unplug the PS from the MB and replug them back in. I then checked all the connections and tried it again. This time, it started up and the HDD LED came on and I was back up. So I was like, great, most of overheated or something. So I shut it down, and then go and hook everything back up to it. I then go to start it up again, and I'm back at the same problem. No BIOs or anything when I turn it on. Also no HDD LED lighting up. So I took it back out and started messing around with it, checking connections, talking to a friend for about 2 hours. Try it few more times with now success. I tried my battery trick and replugging the MB to the HDD and it didn't work. So I'm about to lose all hope when I hook it back up to put it up and give it one last try, and it boots right up like nothing ever happened. Honestly, I'm so confused I don't know what to think. When I had it open and turned on, all the other LEDs that were hooked into the motherboard were lighting up, like the eye LEDs on the front. The memory was light up and running whenever I turned it on. There was even a little green light that was lit up on the motherboard as well. This was all while it wasn't working may I remind you. So I shut it down last night. Got up this morning, booted it back up, and its still working. Questions is, does anybody know what may be wrong with it? Was it just overheated or is my Motherboard going bad? This is killing me because I just ordered 2GB of memory and a sound card for $300 for this MB. And its a 478 socket which isn't really supported anymore. I'm really skeptical and worried that its gonna crap out at any time. Can anybody can shed any light at all on the situation, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
