I thought it was pretty good, very similar to the previous installments. One thing I did notice and am wondering if anyone else noticed.. does anyone else think that it is too easy to hit the notes? At some parts I would just randomly hammer on buttons and the note would play. I think they were focusing too much on newcomers to the series, and didn't make it hard enough for people who have played the series over the years.
i loved it the only bad thing is im trying to play expert with a controller due to the fact i sold my guitar to get 2 new wireless ones. im almost passing them with the controller on expert lol.
Yeah I can see what your saying. I picked it up and absolutley shreded the solo's on expert the first time. But I actually really like it like that. I mean it still requires skill to do that good, but its nice cause you don't have to be perfect to get almost all the notes. Must say I am really impressed with the game and am now looking forward to it more than ever.
welli never played it befire so i tryed the demo now and have to say i had a blast with it... i dont have the guitar controller and i still had fun with the normal controller.. im not really into rock music iehter but i had fun with these songs even though i wound choose them to listen on the radio!!!

Agreed, i loved it, although i found the alt-strumming a bit odd, like it wasnt registering as well?, heh maybe its my xplorers, they do go through hell hah.
Battle mode is great fun too - before i would always win against my friends, i mean, i have 1 loss to like 200-500 wins haha, now with battle mode they are whooping my ass o.O

Well, I don't know what it was like for series veterans, but this was pretty much my first guitar hero expierience and I became addicted in about 2 mins, and about it being too easy; not for me I tried hard mode which of course I didn't expect it to be simple, but it was ridiculously hard for me.
i thought it was surprisingly easier than gh2. i rarely play gh2 now, maybe a song or 2 every week or so, and yet i loaded this up and beat all of the songs except the metal on expert easily. of course im sure there are a lot of insanely impossible songs in the final game *cough*dragonforce. its really fun though, and i love the songs, especially rock you like a hurricane. im addicted to that one right now haha. and im gonna try to beat the metal on expert before the game releases next week. if the demo is an indication of anything about the final game, then gh3 is gonna be the best one yet.
well i cant even play it my guitar for guitar hero 2 broke which has me pissed off since ive only had the game for like a month or two now. im going to get GH 3 bundle if the guitar for that breaks as well im done with GH
