"...avalanche while filming a promo for Ubisoft's new game, Steep."
Dying while filming a promo for a game? What a waste... and for a Ubisoft game no less! Goes to show how they really need to stop building up hype for games. Enough is enough already...
Rant alert: I'm sick of grinding for money in this game and I refuse to buy those overpriced shark cards. They better start having huge sales and adjusting the prices of everything. The in-game economy is horribly unbalanced.
@DrunkenPunk800: That's what they want us to think, but I don't believe things will get any better than they are now. Big developers are already used to making mediocre games with sub-par visuals to cash in on DLC and microtransactions and I have a feeling the trend will continue. Once in a while we might see a game that pushes the limit (like Uncharted 4) but those will be exceptions to the rule and not worth the added cost of getting these upgraded, more expensive boxes.
@studlygoorite: It was the same problem with the PS4. It has bluetooth but you can't pair a normal cell phone headset with it. It seems the only wireless headsets are those huge stereo headphones that cover both ears. I absolutely hate how obtrusive those things are. The wireless Xbox headset that could swap between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth was great. I miss that one and I hope they will bring it back, otherwise I am not sure I would consider upgrading.
I get that some people are excited about the new consoles and some are outraged, but do we even know what these upgraded boxes will cost? All that hardware doesn't come cheap...
I don't understand why this is an exception to the rule these days. ALL games should have playable demos. I don't want to throw my money away anymore without playing only to be disappointed after making a purchase.
