@NickyWithATicky the basics are everything and if you think they are boring and can't work with what little you know or practice then you have no passion and are learning for all the wrong reasons, i.e. try and find another way to attract girls' attention.

@Sekhemket If you're looking for satisfaction when it comes to characterization then read a book. Play video games because they're fun.

Carolyn's biggest problem is that she perceives video games and the medium as much more than they are and therefore believes they are able to accomplish much more than they actually can.

She reminds me of a rock and roller claiming it's going to change the world. Rock and roll is about having fun, seriousness need not apply. Even Bob Dylan sold out.
