I have the Gigabyte Z68AP-D3.
I originally bought it so my i5 2500k could actually OC itself with turbo boost. The Dual GPU set up was merely a bonus, but it definately contributed to me purchasing it.
I was checking the manufacturers website on the motherboard and I found out something that my local providers website does not include.
The shop I bought it froms website says: 2x PCI-E x16 slots (SLI/Crossfire ready).
What I never knew is that one of those slots is running at 4x speed. So after finding this out I'm like wtf, why give it a PCI-E x16 slot if it's only going to run at 4x.
So that sucks, how badly do you think it would affect performance with dual GPU's?
Regardless, I probably never would have Crossfired anytime this year anyways.
