@deadkingdg Not to mention that your internet provider could be working just fine, but if Xbox servers go down, everyone's screwed. Staying online now has to battle on two separate fronts.
Good to see the 80% of options I couldn't care less about. Now, I'll never need to see them, ever again. Nice that the options exist, but they're really not that big a deal.
Lame way to show off the UI, and it definitely didn't need to be that long.
@SporkFireXPS I don't even know where to begin, but lets see...
First off, you're fixated on this internet issue. How many times do I have to say that this isn't based on any facts? It. was. just. a. spur. of. the. moment. theory. Maybe there are girls and you just don't see it. Maybe there aren't any girls, at all. It has nothing to do with the girl gamers I know, it was a generalized theory based on all girl gamers and it had no foundation, nor did I intend for it to, because it. was. just. a. spur. of. the. moment. theory.
Also, I actually said that many of the girl gamers I know play offline, not all of them. I was deliberate about what I said because some do, and I am well aware of this.
Who says gaming isn't social? Like I said, they're playing with their friends. We get together, male and female alike, and play video games. Some are even couples who get competitive with each other. It's a great time. Sounds pretty sociable to me.
I also specifically addressed the idea that perhaps it's just that I live in a community that happens to contain more female gamers than most. Actually, I addressed it more than once, acknowledging that maybe it's just here and not everywhere.
As for the YouTube videos, what does it matter who is in the gaming competitions if I've seen, with my own eyes, just as many girls at the floor demos, playing the demos, some of whom I've met? Are the videos 12-hour live cams that cover each section? From each day? From each event? You're watching one video, from one angle, from one aspect. I attend these events in person. I talk to these people in person. Some of those people I meet early on in lines, before the event has even opened up.
Are you requesting I take a picture with these mystical female gamers? How about I get a scraping skin sample from the back of their hand?
