I know this topic has probably been beaten to death before but it recently sprung up on my and it is quite a pain in the arse.

I've never had issues with xbox live, ever and i have had my console for close to 2 years. Recently though it all changed, a friend that before I could only connect to if he hosted sent me game invite (this is all over CoD 4 as well) and couldn't connect to my games if i was host. Recently though its deteriorated to the point where neither of us can accept our chat invites or game invites. This is happening to a couple friends on my list, while others i have no problems connecting with at all.

Is there anyway to improve this situation? i was thinking of upgrading my router as its kind of a little old and i can garuntee it doesn't operate as efficiently as a new one, but would that fix it? or is it an xbox live issue or my internet connection? thanks for any suggestions in advance.

depends on your impact and where the ball will land, but for the most part you have to do the super spin shot, which is holding up when the meter goes up and holding down when the meter goes down (for a super backspin). Do the opposite for the forward spin. you can also get it sometimes by just doing it the old school way of just holding down or up while swinging, but the super spin shots get it the most often.

i have a friend that bought a 360 without a hard drive (yea he is cheap) and i was thinking of upgrading to a 120 GB, once the transfer is done am i able to give him the HD to use?

also, was the HD not priced at something around $100 (120 - 140 CDN) like a year or so ago? i mean now its like $220 CDN (which is insane) and a friend also swears with me it was like half the price a year ago.

I'm really interested in getting this game and can only find Portable Ops Plus. Is this the same as the original portable ops game with just an add-on pack or is it just solely on add on for the original game? seems the original is being a **** to track down (im in canada).

don't get me wrong, i want it for the games mostly, it was just that the media functions and web browser made it alot more appealing to me then the DS (girlfriend will be getting DS as well when she buys me my PSP).

im big into online multiplayer, is there any good multiplayer online games? is port. ops multiplayer?

Going to be getting a PSP next week for my birthday (was a toss up between PSP and DS, I think the media features of PSP trump DS) and have a question regarding file types.

I plan to use the PSP for all my on the go stuff, so music is going to be a big thing, but heres the deal. I have all my music stored on my PC as .WMA files as I chose the option for ripping music via windows media player to store them that way. Is this going to be a problem for placing the music on my PSP? Will the Sony Media Manager or a related software application help me out? The only other media app that bestbuy.ca lists is "X-oom Movies on PSP" and "X-oom Media Suite". Will any of those allow me to use .WMA or will the PSP out of the box be able to play them?

anyone know of anywhere that offers replacements for the headset that comes with the chatpad? seems mine won't work as the cord is coming of the controller connector part.

you also receive an email to the windows live account you registered with and you also get a message from xbox. oh they tell you about it don't worry. better hurry, you can still get the 12+1 card at certain places.

would definately give them a shot so long as my xbox live gold subscription is the only fees i pay. to have to pay for my live AND a subscription to a game would be waay to much

unless its a GTA MMO with gangs and stuff (i say thugs vs police or thugs vs police vs citizens) or a MMO CoD (think a neverending BF 1942) i would pay, but the fee would have to be super low.
